Functional and CleanWe only needed a place to get the head down for the night, but it was easy to find, clean, the staff spoke english, and the bar/restaurant was nice too. I'd recommend it if you need a convenient place to stay for a night.

Change of heartA couple of years ago I really rated the Brit Hotel chain. Now I consider them just average. This trip we stayed there one night, unfortunately the same time as a cycling competition Check in fast and friendly and the rooms were clean but small. We ate there for dinner and the food was just average. A glass of wine (several I consumed) were all on the small side, in France ???? Service started off painfully slow but did improve. The desert buffet rapidly consumed by the cyclists and not topped up. Breakfast OK and service better and check out quick and easy but we did get down there pretty early. Another hotel OK if passing through but Brit hotels need to pull their socks up. I thought expensive for what it was. I will now change to Campanile chain

Quite different from the pictures on the Web! !!!I was there a couple of days ago because Nantes were all overbooked and this were just the only place I found an avaliable room for one night. The hotel is placed in an industrial area not reachable with public transport!! The building seems to be more a dormitory than an hotel... rooms with squeaking doors not really comfortable during the night... seemed to be in an horror movie!!! At 10 PM, as soon as I found the hotel, the kitchen was closed with not any possibility to have something to eat! I went out to look for a restaurant with my colleague and when I came back to the hotel... the surprise!!!... The outer gate was closed and nobody answered to the ring bell!!! I had to climb it over!!! Wifi not running into my room... Anyhow acceptable just for one night!!! If you get used to sort it out for yourself!!!

InterestingStayed here as part of a large sporting group for a long weekend. The most surprising thing about this hotel was the location - stuck right in the middle of a trading estate! No shops, bars or restaurants within walking distance! However the hotel was very clean, small bedroom but very comfortable bed. Excellent sleep quality. Dinner each day was adequate but by the end of the weekend I was desperate to eat vegetables as we saw none at dinner! Breakfast was an experience - we must have been given a discount as a group because we were not allowed to eat from the buffet breakfast bar! Instead we were given 1 croissant with a tiny plastic pot of jam, 1 bread roll that you could use as a house brick, cold coffee and orange juice. Not even given a plate to use! I would say the hotel equates to a travel lodge. Good for business but not much else.

lovely interesting city to visitlots to see in the lovely city of Nantes, walk the green trail to see all the sites including the amazing mechanical elephant and the large chateau in a city. It will take you 4-5 hours to walk the city trail, enjoy lunch in one of the street side restaurants on the route. We used this city as a stop over on way back to UK via Cherbourg. Hotel is on an industrial estate, used by business people during the week, disappointing the restaurant was closed on Sunday night
