Good location and golfHotel is very conveniently located in a rural area with adjoining golf course. Also good for walking and exploring the Granite coast. Check in without problems, staff very helpful. Rooms not too spacious. Wouldn't want to stay for more than three days. Restaurant serves good food. Breakfast also good for french standards.

Very niceSpent 2 nights here through Brittany Ferries with my mother. We enjoyed it very much! The hotel is quite easy to find, once you know where you are going, as it is off the beaten track. The hotel itself is basic, as you would expect from a 3*, but was more than adequate for ourselves. We did not actually know what time check-in was as it did not say on our confirmation from Brittany Ferries, and arrived an hour earlier than their stated check-in time of 1530. Speaking from experience of working in hotels, there is nothing worse than people trying to check-in early, so I am truly sorry for doing so! The lady on the desk was a little surprised, but ran upstairs to check if our room was ready, which it is! The room was basic, but spacious with excellent beds and a very good bathroom. The only negative things of note was that it was quite dark in the bedroom and there was no door to the shower. Breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality, served in different parts of the hotel with excellent views of the golf course and the beach in the distance. Dinner choices were limited but fantastically priced and cooked to perfection. 2/3 courses for 15/8pp is very good value! The staff were very helpful and accommodating to my strange requests, especially the 2 gentleman in the restaurant, the lady who checked us in and was often seen in the restaurant and the lovely lady at breakfast. Sadly I didn't get any of their names. I'm currently injured from running so was often icing my legs to reduce the swelling, and the staff were more than happy to put a bag of frozen peas in the freezer and collect every couple of hours or so for me upon my request. We will most certainly be returning, perhaps early next year as we have so much to explore in the local area, and I desperately want to run in the area! See you very soon!

Brittany Ferry breakStayed here for 2 nights with a Plymouth to Roscoff sailing. We landed in France in attrocious weather which hardly abated during the day, so we chose to find the hotel earlier than planned. Directions were hazy and sat nav sent another route, but once we had found the correct road the hotel was well signposted albeit down a very narrow farm track. Lovely location, surrounded by the golf course, in the middle of nowhere. We arrived an hour too early but luckily our room was ready. Check in is 1530, however check out is a very generous midday. Our room was ample, a little dark at night, with a spacious bathroom. Very nice to have tea/coffee making facilities, thank you; i am used to French hotels so my kettle stayed in the car! We chose to eat in for the first night and our meal was so enjoyable we did so the next evening. Served in the "19" hole, we had views of the greens, a lake with the islands of the granite coast in the distance. Two choices for each course, 15 euro for 2, 18 euro for 3. Typical french food, lovely with plentiful bread; the veal chop was to die for and we never made the dessert! Breakfast is served in the hotel itself with it's splendid 180 degree panoramic views. The staff were so pleasnt and it was nice to see the local provenance of ingredients. We are not golfers, however I spoke to a local in Roscoff who told me this resort is highly regared in the area as having a good "course architecture". Otherwise brilliant for cycling, walking and sightseeing, Tip: head towards Carhaix for the Valley of the Saints. Thank you for such a relaxing stay and we plan to visit very soon to explore the areas we missed. Most direct route is via D11 off the commercial centre beyond Lannion, no need to go to Perros Guirec.

Great location and valueGreat hotel in a beautiful remote setting, ideal for beaches and walking, but still convenient for city life if that's your desire. The highlight is the breakfast room, being a first floor semi-circular room with stunning panoramic views of the sea.

Decidedly average. It depends on what your expectations are: if all you want is a bed, bathroom and breakfast then this is the place for you. If you want somthing in the way of comfort and character it's not. The room was on the small side but came with a double bed (but only one mean pillow each), a decent sized but basic bathroom, desk, a couple of hard chairs and limited hanging space. Oh, and a TV (CNN English only) and aa kettle. The room, and the rest of the hotel, gave the impression that the brief to the architect was along the lines of "I want a hotel but to the most minimum standard possible". And that's what it is. It has all the charm and character of a shipping container; no lounge. Breakfast was the usual buffet fayre and was OK. Staff welcoming and friendly but the pool is looking tired but it's a decent size. The accompanying restaurant was quite good on balance with two menus at 16.5 and 19.5 Euros each. Not extensive but attractively presented and well cooked. The hotel's location is great as it's about 2 miles from the coast and is a good launching point for large stretches of coastline. If all you want is a bed and a meal (and a game of golf) then it would suit but those wanting a bit more might try elsewhere. Date of experience: July 2020
