All about location...The hotel have a very good location. Right in the center of Reims. And...thats about it! Not sure what is « 3 star » about the hotel. Rooms are tiny (ok we are right in the center of the city fair enough), equipments in the rooms are more than basic, curtains old and let the light in way too much, wall are really thin and you can hear your neighbors. Staff is very lovely and helpful, they truly care about their customers. I guess the hotel is ok for a one night stop in the city, but the value is not here for the money : except for the location! The hotel itself is not worth what I paid. Parking : yes like all the city center you have to pay (in the street or public parking)

Not a great hotel but in a nice location and with good staffWe stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights when we came to Reims to visit champagne houses and tour the area. Although the hotel is presented as a three-star hotel, we personally found that it could not have been further from reality. Its a family-run hotel (there is a sign in the lobby confirming that). We are very savvy travelers and travel at least once a month, here in France, as well as internationally, and here are Pros and Cons based on our experience with this hotel. Pros: (i) Great location for tourist purposes, with a proximity to the cathedral, hotel de ville and downtown area; (ii) Available (although paid) street parking close by; (iii) Many restaurants and shops not far off; (iv) Available (although quite basic) breakfast; (v) Elevator in the hotel and air conditioner in the room; (vi) Nice and helpful staff, although some with limited English speaking ability; (vii) random bottles with hand gel available in the lobby. Cons: (i) Terrible location of the room we stayed at (#12) it was located right across from the restaurant that was open VERY late every night when we stayed at the hotel, and it was SO loud (even with closed windows!) that we barely got any sleep while staying at the hotel; so if you like noise and partying, this would be great for you; but if you intend to have any sleep, I would definitely ask the hotel staff for a recommendation on the room on a quieter side, if any; (ii) No tea kettle or coffee maker in the room; (iii) No refrigerator in the room; (iv) The towels looked terrible once white, they lost all the whiteness and now just look gray and worn out; (v) There should be MORE signs alerting customers to wear masks and the hotel staff should definitely make more effort making sure that customers obey this requirement we saw several people at breakfast without masks; (vi) The hotel is terribly outdated (furniture, decor) and in a desperate need of, if not upgrades, then really good, proper cleaning! We were really put off by the bad sanitary condition of the room we stayed at; cleanliness always matters, of course, but even more so during this pandemic! Comparing to other hotels we recently stayed in while traveling in France (where the rooms have been spotless, scrubbed to perfection to ensure proper cleanliness and are sanitized after each customer to ensure good hygiene), we found that the room we stayed at in this hotel was in a terrible condition well, it is not a great look for any hotel when a customer walks into the room and sees a part of the curtain hanging off the hook, a really-really tiny TV on the wall, some terrible dark brown leather-like throws on the beds, an old wine rack by the bed instead of a bed-side table (it mayve worked in some different hotel adding to the décor but in this one it just looks desperate); but the stains on the walls, dirty light switches, and more importantly an absolutely TERRIBLE urine smell from the bathroom - forget a sanitized for your protection band on the toilet! we were just lucky to have antibacterial/sanitizing wipes with us... (vii) From toiletries you'll get a soap, that's it. We will never stay at this hotel again and will most certainly not recommend it to our friends.

Great little hotelFabulous little hotel in an absolutely ideal location. 5 minute walk to the centre of town. 7 or 8 to the Cathedral. Staff couldnt be more helpful and speak great English which a bonus compared to my dire French. Lovely little outside bar with very reasonable prices. We didnt eat but what we saw coming out looked very good. Parking on the street was free on the Sunday we arrived but we paid 4 which gave us until 11am on the Monday to move the car thanks to the guy on reception who told us this so no having to get up by 9! Underground car park is about 2 minute walk away and was half empty. Rooms and bathroom arent massive but theyre for sleeping and washing in so that was fine. Air conditioning looks tired but is brilliant. Id really recommend this hotel. It was a great find.

Friendly ServiceThis easily situation hotel has the most wonderful friendly service of any hotel I have stayed in . The newly renovated courtyard is a delightful and if the the planned hotel renovations are of similar quality this hotel will be very special. The rooms are clean , well air conditioned, and whilst not grand are perfect for a one or two night stay. I will definitely return.
