  Of the minuses: a dark room in which there is not enough light, you need more towels and a little better to clean up, inflated cost. From the pros: delicious and varied breakfast, great location, balcony, nice staff. : , , . : , , , .

  Good for what it is

  While an older, and not a luxurious property, it is comfortable and well-maintained. Coming and going can be a bit of an adventure since there is no place for a car to stand on the busy street! Traveling in Crimea can be an adventure, since only Russian-issued credit cards or ATM's will work, so all foreigners must bring enough cash. The hotel asks for everything to be paid up-front (luckily we didn't have to change money for our 4-night stay). They are definitely not used to seeing foreign tourists, but most of the front-desk personnel spoke English. No such luck in the restaurant or elsewhere, so it helps to speak some Russian. No non-Russian language channels on the TV either. Internet worked pretty well. Elevators were pretty quick. Breakfast buffet was pretty good for a 3-star. Nice location if you want to be by the boardwalk. They only give you one water bottle per stay, but there is a water cooler in the hallway...

  Nice hotel - good location - friendly staff

  I stayed here for one night in February. The reception staff speaks good English and was very welcoming. The room was very huge and in good shape. The location of the hotel is good to explore Yalta on foot it is located on one edge of the corniche. As I had an early check-out the hotel provided a good packed breakfast. I regret, that I stayed here not for a second or third night (but my travel schedule was too tight for that).

  Poor all round this time.

  Well this isnt our first visit to this hotel let me say first and normally everything was excellent..not this time. Firstly we booked a specific room from a set of rooms we know all was confirmed four months ago for three nights over New Years Eve and 2 nights after. On arrival we we're given a different room on the wrong side from what we had confirmation for...nothing could be done we were told (eventually we were given the room on the 2nd). Reception staff on check in were not very courteous I have to say. This was also a premium period and paid double than normal for the rooms...you would think a bootle of champagne in the room on arrival would be in order as it was new years eve...alas no such thing..New years day breakfast was very poor little choice and either lukewarm or cold...but worse the street cafe veranda and room where breakfast used to be is no more. Breakfast is served inside in a room with no windows at all. The breakfast is of a very low standard and I really wonder why no greater effort was put in. Considering the room cost was double the breakfast choice was half what it used to be...wine was available.....if you were quick at breakfast otherwise you went without. The sauna and pool was a free for all with children throwing tea on the stones in the russian sauna. No one did anything about them and the poor cleaner had a mess to clear up after them..All in all compared to the other times this cost twice as much for half as good service....

  Catchy name

  Name is catchy. You also catch all noises from everywhere imaginable as the hotel has no soundproofing. Location and staffs are the best thing. The room with ocean view did not look like properly cleaned.
