  Don't waste your money!

  Whilst on a day trip with friends we stopped off here for some refreshments. What a mistake! Despite being told by the door staff that it was OK to go in for drinks, we were ordered by the bar maid that we had to take our drinks outside as we were not eating! There were no signs stating that the tables inside were for food only. She was extremely rude and when we returned into the bar to use the facilities the expression on her face would curdle milk! My friend, incensed by our treatment, asked why she had spoken to us so rudely - her response was 'well it is a restaurant!' At no point we were offered menus to decide of we were going to eat plus there were other people drinking inside. Clearly our faces did not fit!

  Food was amazing!

  We called in for a bite to eat on 2/9/20. We were not disappointed! The food was amazing! Helpful and friendly staff. Nice to see all safety measures were put in place in line with covid guidelines too. Lovely place, definitely recommend and will be visiting again

  Excellent service and food

  The Bridge End Hotel was the first place we came to having moored up our canal boat in Llangollen while on holiday. Even though they were short staffed we could not have been made to feel more welcome, the food was excellent and the staff were apologetic for the short wait. We will be returning for another meal tomorrow. This is service as it should be!

  £90 for room only , no breakfast , no parking , no coffee in room and very rude staff

  Check in was very stressful due to no parking , as a nurse who has worked through covid 19 I came for a break but was greeted by this shambles , we had a lot of money to spend and wanted to put money back into the economy but we where greeted and ripped off so much we only paid for the room , government guidelines state face protection should be worn but staff behind the bar did not seem to understand this and had visors up when serving customers , they had a line around the bar that they screamed at customers not to cross , unless paying, this stay was the worse of my holiday and so different to when we stayed for the steampunk weekend. Apparently they could not provide cups , tea and coffee in the room because of covid (even though it states on here that cups etc are sanitised) , no breakfast included in the price (again blaming covid, even though all the other hotels offer a reduced type of breakfast for less price) , I definitely will not be staying again and as I have a huge following on social media and get out to 10 million a year so i shall be reviewing to my followers too .... We feel very ripped off and as I have worked throughout covid on the front line I feel out treatment was very disrespectful

  Lovely stay and great service

  My wife and I stayed at the hotel on Saturday night as a treat for her birthday. We enjoyed the fixed price menu evening meal as part of special deal offered on Facebook. Very friendly service. Bedroom was very clean well decorated and the bed was comfortable. We definitely recommend it and would stay again.
