  A beautiful place to stay

  In the middle of a forest yet not far from the Healeville town centre, this is a beautiful place to stay. The setting is very special, with a combination of the beautiful building, the roses, a gentle fountain, donkeys and the amazing bush surroundings. The apartments are very clean and very comfortable inside and out. The owners Christine and Mark are wonderfully friendly and helpful. We enjoyed Christine's suggestions of what to do on our stay and enjoyed them all, including our bush walks, gin tastings etc. The breakfast that was provided was delicious and generous and you can't beat having free range eggs freshly gathered for you that day. It was all delightful and relaxing and we will be planning our next visit before too long!

  Beautiful

  Gorgeous property, comfortable, clean with everything you need for a short stay. Hosts extremely welcoming and helpful. Beautiful garden, big comfy bed. True to photos, the property is stunning. Would definitely stay again!

  Would come back in a heartbeat

  Clean, well presented and tranquil getaway. Mark and Christine were helpful and friendly hosts with a wealth of information about things to do and places to go. The views are stunning. Highly recommended.

  Take a relaxing break

  Lovely refurbished classical apartment, very clean and most comfortable king size bed overlooking the valley. Peaceful location within easy drive to Healesville. Excellent supplies for DIY breakfast. Christine & Mark are welcoming but not intrusive hosts. Enjoy the animals - dogs, cats, donkeys & magpies. Lots to see and do in the area or just chill out with your favourite book.

  Perfect for Rest & Relaxation

  Beautiful property that has a long history as a hotel, now renovated to 3 apartments that still retain that old charm, near the reserve/bush. Apartments look out to the colourful garden with gentle fountain and the backdrop of the forest on the hill. This setting immediately brings upon a sense of peace & relaxation. Was great to sit at the little table outside having breakfast or a cup of tea, listening to nature. Close to town, wineries & restaurants. Thank you to the owners Christine & Mark who provided excellent service to make our stay a very enjoyable & restful one. Hope to visit again with friends before too long. Happy to recommend.
