  Outdated hotel

  We were visiting the hotel on recommendation of our friends of surroundings.While surrounding was really breathtaking,the hotel was kind of outdated and would use improvements especially the reconstruction of the rooms,where furniture is still in shape of 90'.The breakfast was ok,but not what you expect in 4 star hotel.Aircondition was not working (only a wind went out) and was quite loud. Overall this was not a 4 star hotel and especially not for that price.

  Great hotel surrounded by a big park etc

  Communist era hotel renovated to todays standards ( besides the air conditioning) sitting on endless grounds with a golf and convention center as well as a spa. Breakfasts are good and you can ask the waitress to prepare whatever you like. Rooms are clean and nice, quite spacious In the picture view from our room

  Great park

  Great location for a wedding in the open air. Terrific venue for outdoor catering and music. The park has golf and horses and a duck pond and a love lake. It is free to enter if you stay at the brdo hotel otherwise 8 Euros.

  Lo mejor el Spa

  Tras ver las fotos de Internet, al llegar decepciona. Sobretodo la habitación. La cama vieja, blanda y "te tira a un lado". El desayuno correcto, excepto si bajas a última hora porque no queda nada. El Spa, de lujo.

  A country hotel but service was poor

  We visited this hotel in June. It is set in the country side which allows one to take a nice walk in the garden park close to the hotel. Inside, one wall was adorned with pictures of famous persons who had stayed at the hotel. That was then. What about our visit? On the day of our arrival, there was a World Cup match taking place in the afternoon. After checking in and placing our baggage in our room, we headed down to the bar/lounge hoping to see the World Cup match. The lady at the bar was so engrossed with her conversation on her mobile phone that she did not pay attention to us waiting for service. After a 5 minute wait, she did finally noticed us and we ordered two drinks and some nuts. We asked if we could watch the football match. She was visibly not pleased -- and it showed on her face-- and told us that she did not know how to operate the TV. That surprised us and more so when she handed to us the remote control. Surely she should know how to switch on the TV set and get the right channel, if the TV was also located close to the lounge? Perhaps she had not been instructed on how to switch on the TV by the hotel. If true, the hotel had failed. The next day, at breakfast we had better customer service experience from a friendly waitress The breakfast offering was disappointing, however. At check-out, the service was acceptable and delivered by two young ladies who strikingly were more friendly than the woman at the bar lounge the previous afternoon. To be fair, the unfriendly waitress did bring to us a mobile-phone left behind by my friend. As I wanted to spare other visitors a similar unfriendly service, I emailed my comments to the hotel. Thus far, they have not responded, suggesting they were not interested. Very sad indeed. What does it say about Hotel Brdo management?
