    Get over the shock and you'll love it

    Pulling up outside you'll see a really nice gate set in a typical Bulgarian not used bit of land. It's a bit of a shock and not the best first impression. A lovely bloke who runs the place meets you, even in the middle of the night, grabs a case and takes you to your apartment which will be spotlessly clean but dated, We considered asking to be moved but we got there at 5 am and when we woke up and looked around we thought yes it's a little run down, the settee for example was probably made in 1989 and the bed is rock hard but it does have some points that make up for it. In Sept 2018 they were making some improvements to the general outside look. Also the complex is old and it means it has some charms. Be warned though there are no lifts in any of the buildings. Some are four story. In our apartment the toilet refused to flush, the washer flooded the floor and it took two days to work out how to turn a 20 year old TV on. But we got there. It's right next to an Aldo - vodka for four quid for 70cl. Food is expensive though. You find cheap good food just before you leave but for good cheap Bulgarian food search friends and food. All in all if you want a nice hotel in a nice resort this isn't for you. We hated it when we got there but we'd go back now we're home. Gets a thumbs up from us.

    Fantastic

    I guess it depends when you visit but in May these apartments are great. Clean, tidy, no noise, well maintained, Slavi the manager is fantastic! Couldnt ask for a nicer guy. Good location. Had a wonderful time.

    Self catering apartments

    After reading the bad reviews I was dreading my holiday to be honest. Me and my husband were taking my 90 year old mother with us. When we arrived It was a relief. The first thing we saw was the lovely clean pool and surroundings. We were greeted straight away by the manager who took us to our room. The room was basic but very clean. Cant comment on the pots and pans etc because we never used them. I had intentions of eating out and thats what we did. The balcony overlooked the pool. Very quiet on a night. If I had to have a moan, it would be that theres no pads on sun loungers. It sounds petty but they are rather uncomfortable after a while. Short walk to all amenities, restaurants night life etc. you get what you pay for. If you want 5 star pay 5 star prices. We were very happy here and would definitely go back. Its affordable.

    Lovely place and great manager!

    Were booked for a week when we got there was shown to our apartments, everything was fine no issues but were told we were being moved to there better sister hotel the following day, we accepted the offer of a move but if we were not moved we would of loved to of stayed here, the manager a lovely friendly guy was amazing with knowledge and couldn't do enough to help, would definitely recommend this hotel.

    Perfect place

    After reading the reviews and seeing pictures we really didn't want to go. On arrival very late was shown to our apartments next to one another which we requested. Newly fitted kitchen spotless and overlooking the pool. Pool amazing clean and well tended. Pool bar open every day we were there. The crowning glory of this place is Slavi amazing from start to finish. An absolutely genuine guy and looked after us so well. Thanks we will be back.
