  Anniversary getaway

  We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Boyden House Inn. We stayed in the executive suite on the second floor which was a beautiful room with wooden floors, a fireplace, and a multi window view of the front lawn. Coffee was available around 8am and breakfast was served at 9am each day. Each meal was unique and delicious. We had a reserved table on the beautiful front patio we sat at each morning. Shelly was who we communicated with throughout our stay and was very friendly and helpful. The walk to downtown and all the restaurants and shops on the main street took us about 10 minutes. We loved seeing all the amazing homes down the streets on our walks. The walk to the beach took a little longer (about 25-30 minutes) but a very easy drive if you prefer not to walk. The landscaping around the Boyden House Inn is beautiful and there is a relaxing koi pond in the back. We even got to see a couple of deer hanging out in the front lawn one night! If you are in Grand Haven I highly recommend the Boyden House Inn.

  Cute B & B

  We had a very nice stay at the Boyden House Inn. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed our breakfast on the patio. My husband likes those whirlpool bathtubs and we were able to enjoy a soak together after exploring Grand Haven. I would recommend for a nice couples getaway.

  The price for quality

  We enjoyed our stay but would make a different choice next time. The host was wonderfully gregarious and helpful. The air conditioning was great and it was in a quiet part of the residential area. It was a bit of a walk to town but we got to see some lovely areas. What we wish were different; Good breakfast but it was salty, water wasn't served and there was no toast or muffins etc. but toast and water were given when requested. The fruit was great. There was only an half hr window to eat. For the price we thought there would be a better mattress and pillows. The shower was difficult. Our room was otherwise very pleasant though didn't darken at night so bring a mask. Also we could not get closed captions to work on the TV so could not watch. It's a very interesting home and we enjoyed seeing it. Thanks

  Fabulous Stay in Downtown B&B

  What a great experience for my sister and I to experience Boyden House B&B! The Safari Room and the adjoining library room were exquisite! I will stay here again and take my hubby here for a romantic getaway! Thank you Shelly for the helpful information and nice breakfast!

  Will return when back in Grand Haven

  We had an excellent stay at the Boyden house. Shelly was a great host. Breakfast was delicious. The house is beautiful with tasteful and charming touches. We've stayed at many BNB's in the midwest over the past 10+ years. This was one of our favorites.
