  A fantasticfind in Thuringia

  Selected this hotel as I had a business meeting nearby. What a pleasant surprise! We arrived later than expected and checked in swiftly. We were informed that the restaurant was still open and we chose to sample the local cuisine in the form of meat, red cabbage and dumplings. We started with reasonably low expectations but the dish was delicious-the dumplings were pleasingly soft and the meat was served with sufficient sauce. The service was so seamless and totally unobtrusive that this was a good dining experience for the weary traveller. The hotel and room decor is a delightful mix of the traditional and the modern. Their nod to Andy Warhol style repetition of images within the artwork was interesting. The rooms were clean, well equipped and, very importantly, extremely quiet. Upon waking there was a very extensive, high quality breakfast buffet served. There was simply no cause for any complaint throughout the whole stay. The free wifi service was much appreciated too and the room price very reasonable. We would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

  Romantic hotel in the middle of "glass country"

  Always utilize this hotel for the business trips buying all types of glass for resale. Directly in the middle of the Thuringen glass industry. Romantic rooms, fair prices, parking spaces, everything as expected.

  Lovely hotel

  Great hotel. We came to Thuringia to cross country ski and had 3 very comfortable nights at this hotel. Great restaurant with interesting and tasty menu and good breakfasts. All the staff were very helpful.

  Nice atmosphere

  This hotel can be romantic, functional and comfortable all at one time. Decoration is nice and room layout make it display as a suit. Good outside parking and very nice staff. Breakfast is fine. They have no air conditioner so you might need to let windows open, then becomes noisy cause the main road besides. WiFi need to be improved. I will get back.

  Enjoyable stay

  Stayed 2 nights on business and enjoyed my stay. The Hotel is comfortable and clean with great staff and nice atmosphere. We ate dinner 1 night in the restaurant and we all enjoyed our meals. I also enjoyed learning a bit about the area's history. Highly recommended.
