  Fantastic hotel and location

  Stayed here for our first holiday to Skiathos and when we go back would be hard to stay anywhere else. Lovely clean hotel with spacious rooms, a lovely bar attached and they do a very good breakfast. The owners cant do enough to make your stay special and in particular dimitri was very helpful with suggesting where to go and where to eat but more so helping us following the sad demise of Thomas cook whilst we were there. The staff during both day and night were very pleasant and a special mention to the young waitress who served us in the bar every night. If you want that bit extra and a central location for Skiathos Town then look no further than the Bourtzi.

  What a Gem!

  From the moment we arrived the hotel went out of their way to go above and beyond. We arrived a day late as we had to re-arrange all our flights and were tired after two days of very early starts. Dimitris welcomed us and took us through for something to eat and drink before taking us to our room. The room was extremely spacious and well presented. Staff were all very friendly and breakfast was a wide range of hot and cold, local and international. A place we would highly recommend and visit again.

  THE BOURTZI HOTEL SKIATHOS

  After 25 years of holidaying in the Greek islands The Bourtzi is the best Greek hotel we have stayed in. The hotel is modern, well appointed with good size rooms. Pool and bar facilities are excellent and breakfast is superb. However what sets this hotel apart is the service led by the owners Dimitri and Lianis. The brothers are always available and passionate about their island offering advice on the best places to visit and island walks. All the staff are very cheerful and keen to engage with you. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The attention to detail is amazing. Beach towels and bag available daily. Umbrellas offered when rain threatened. Insect repellant machines in bedroom and quality toiletries supplied. A great place to stay in a lovely town on a beautiful island. What's not to like. We will be back. John and Rosie. Room 404.

  Honeymoon

  We stayed at Bourtzi July 2019 for our honeymoon and could not have been more overwhelmed by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, we were given not only a map of the island but a chat about how to get around it, all there is to see there and all the beaches to explore (of which there are plenty, youll never get bored here) and all of which we visited were beautiful (we did 9 beaches in 7 days). The location couldnt have been more ideal; off a side street of the Main Street within a 2 minute walk of the marina which is a really beautiful relaxing place to chill and look out to sea or catch a cruise or taxi bus from to another island or town. Even though the hotel is next to the Main Street you cant hear a thing, its a really quiet place to just relax. The cocktails were delicious and you just felt like you were in safe hands the whole time. I couldnt recommend this hotel more, the staff were happy to just chat to you as much as you wanted to and they couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable about the island which is a real asset. They provided you with towels to take to the beach that theyd wash for you each night, occasionally give out free bottles of water by the poolside when it was really hot and would clean and tidy the rooms every day. A full english buffet breakfast each morning with lighter options was all really good food and kept you going throughout the day. If you like walking this place is perfect for you as my husband and I spent hours just walking round the cobbled streets taking in the scenery, popping in the shops and stopping for lunch or dinner in one of the many top quality restaurants when we werent relaxing on one of the very many beautiful beaches here. Thank you so much to all the staff at Bourtzi for all your kindness and making our honeymoon so very special! You gave us all the time in the world and made us feel so welcome, it was like coming home every night. Well certainly be returning and recommending to all x

  Ideal place to stay!

  We had a wonderful time at this modern, clean hotel in the center of Skiathos town! The location couldn´t be better! Every day we could drive to different beautiful beaches and explore the island and every evening we had a short way to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful giving tips for anything you may need as a tourist. We are looking forward to going there again! Thanks a lot for everything!
