A fresh new motel that will not disapoint. This is a new motel in a relatively safe suburb of Udon Thani. The facility has been built to a good standard, with a larger than normal bath room. During a 16 nights at the motel we found the staff very friendly and very keen to ensure we had a stress free stay. The rooms contain small refrigerators and guests can utilize the fully equipped kitchen. It is located close to 2 restaurants that cater to Westerners. Escape the heat in air-conditioned rooms or the small swimming pool. The price is very reasonable.

Suburban ThailandIntroduction: I am an American volunteer in Loei province, northeastern Thailand, and get to travel around Thailand quite a bit staying at hotels each time. I speak Thai and get paid in Thai baht-- this is my review. Me and my fiancé arrived at Bouquet at 1am on a Thursday night at the secondary bus station. Took a tuktuk to Bouquet for 100 baht (5 km). For reference, they are located by "Tessaban nongsomrong". The area is extremely well lit and close to a military facility; as such it's very safe. Tuktuk drivers know exactly where to go if you mention the Tessaban (municipality). The hotel is located far from shopping areas. There is a 7-eleven close by (about 2 km away) but be careful at night as, like in much of suburban Thailand, pack dogs will threaten to and bite if you get too close. We were way too close to one while walking at midnight searching for food just down the road. The nightwatch helped us to our room. Nice guy, but be aware that most of the staff doesn't speak any English. The room is furnished with a tv, AC, small fridge, and a great hot water shower. There aren't many toiletries provided to speak of. The bathroom could use some shelves to put personal toiletries in the shower. In the room lamps would be an amazing addition as the overhead light is VERY bright. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked well kept and clean. The bed was comfortable- in a 1 to 10 scale 1 being extremely soft to 10 being extremely firm it was about a 6 or 7. Good for my taste. And talking about taste, there's a gaiyang (grilled chicken) place right across the road and two noodle restaurants if you walk to the right out of the hotel about a block away. I needed to go to the North Eastern Wattana Hospital, which is why I stayed here. The receptionist called a cab -a taxi meter- but agreed the rate of 150 baht ahead for us without asking. That's a lot considering that it's only maybe 5 km away. We were able to get a tuktuk back for 60 baht. Taxis and tuktuk don't come by this area though, so aside from her agreeing a high price I'm glad she called one for us. There's self serve instant coffee downstairs. A pastry is also provided. The hotel has cooking facilities but does not provide a menu, or even small list of items to eat. There are beer Leo for 50 baht and coke and green fanta cans for 20 baht in the refrigerator in the rooms. What I liked most: the facility is brand new. The place is kept impeccably clean. The shower was amazing. What I disliked most: I knew that the location was not close to shopping areas, but there's much left to be desired. There are no 7-elevens or even small home-ran convenience shops, which makes it difficult to find anything for my fiancé to eat at breakfast when the hotel refuses to make an egg for him as he's gluten-intolerant and can't eat the provided bread-based pastry. So location and service are lacking. Overall: overall, for 650 baht a night I'd say this was an average hotel, and an average stay, with some very upsetting moments.

Lovely placeWe stayed here for one night because of our early flight. The crew is very friendly. There is a small pool with rather cold water because it's in the shadow. There isn't much in the neighborhood the owner was nice to call for a pizza for us. (although these where rather expensive). But if you look for a quick stop, don't look any further!

New Hotel, very Clean, With A Pool.Nice clean place, has a small pool, rooms very modern and seemed fairly safe, comfortable bed, I would use again for sure, a mint little hotel that is great for most people but do not use the restaurant next door as it has delusions of grandeur, it charges ALL of the money but the food is just average. The pool is small and it is like the families own personal one so you have people looking at you as you use it, the WIFI is not good at all and the woman just does not listen when you tell her, parking is limited, first comer, first served.
