  A high quality hotel and incredible location

  My family and I have just come back from a brief one night stay at the hotel. We were very impressed by the hotel. It must have been refurbished recently to a high standard. We were in the two storey family suite in room 601. It was very luxurious, with its own terrace and lighthouse-style observation room at the top. The hotel has excellent uninterrupted views of the beach. The beach itself is lovely, with some interesting white cliffs. The staff were very friendly and the food and drink in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was top quality. We will definitely return.

  Covid break

  Wonderful to away for a few days during pandemic. Felt completely safe with controls in place and properly applied. Staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Food, especially the breakfasts, was excellent. Outlook from hotel spectacular even though weather was not on our side will certainly aim to return sometime in 2021 wheb covid restrictions will hopefully be a thing of the past. Room was good size with full facilities.

  Fantastic hotel all round!

  I highly recommend Botany Bay Hotel and will definitely return! Everyone is so friendly, professional and helpful and there's a lovely relaxing and warm feel about the place. My bedroom, the bar, restaurant and all the communal areas are spotless with excellent Covid precautions in place and the hotel location boasts an unrivalled location on the coastal path with the most wonderful views. The menu is varied and delicious, try the crab and crayfish pasta - you won't be disappointed! A big THANK YOU to everyone at the hotel for making my mini break away so chilled and comfortable. Stay well, stay safe and, above all, stay positive!

  Lovely

  My wife and I visited for a night and were greeted warmly and served well by all staff. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Good ale and good food throughout. Vegetarian options were very limited on the menu but was very tasty when it arrived. Very covid compliant too.

  Good ad-hoc lunch

  Had lunch here, did not book, but they had a table. It was quite busy. Service was a bit slow, but the food was very good and would rebook for sure. I had the burger and it was large! My guests had fish and chips, which was was v.good also. They also had vegan options on the menu. They allow dogs. Tables are spread out and the staff were very compliant with Covid safety and hygiene. The place was very clean (including toilets). There was also outside seating. Car Parking available, but you need to register your car with staff to avoid a fine. Suitable for everyone. Great views of the beach/sea.
