  Well run pub with fabulous outside seating area

  Visited Bosun's Chair for lunch last week. My first visit but my husband had been before. Good food, great company. Friendly waitress wearing a mask which was excellent. The garden has been redesigned with Covid in mind and the tables are well spaced out and in the winter months, the waitress informed us there would be gas heaters for those of us not wanting to sit inside the pub. Excellent location.

  Superb!!!

  We Stayed Over night and simply put, i cannot fault anything!! Rooms: Impeccably clean, well presented and comfortable. Bar area: Again, clean and with a good selection of beers. Food: Superb. a really nice menu, cooked to perfection. Staff: Now this is where they excelled! attentive, friendly and always polite. literally service with a smile (face masks aside). nothing is too much trouble! I cannot recommend the Bosuns Chair enough

  No dogs during COVID

  Its a shame ... this looks like a lovely pub inside but we had to sit in what is a nice garden space although cold (October) as we had dogs, the staff were very friendly and apologetic that we were not allowed in due to COVID and the fact that we had dogs, normally dogs are allowed but at this time they are not, just saying ... in all the pubs we have visited we have never heard of this rule ... it is what it is

  Lovely food and friendly service

  We went for dinner here while on holiday in Lymington. Food was very tasty and the lady who served us was so friendly and helpful. Vegetarian options were good. Would definitely go back and recommend.

  The Bosuns Chair Lymington

  Stayed for one nights B&B, had a few drinks and a main meal. Food and staff were excellent. Very friendly atmosphere and friendly staff, full of information about the area. I would highly recommend.
