  Fantastic B&B

  We came here for the weekend during half term to visit family. Easy to get to with help of satnav and we didnt hear traffic although can see a main road from our room. We arrived quite late but Hazel let us in explained the breakfast list and gave us our keys. You decide what you want for breakfast and write it down and what time you want it. When we got to our room it was huge there was a sofa a small table and couple of chairs as well as the beds. The bathroom was big and spacious with a bath and shower. A big tv with freeview. The beds had duvets as well as a blanket but we found the room really warm no issues with sleeping trying to wake 2 teens for breakfast was like waking the dead so beds are good! Breakfast there was a choice of cereals and orange juice. Hazel and another lady came out to see what way we wanted to do breakfast either cereal first or cooked. Cooked breakfast was fresh and hot 2 rashers bacon, sausage, egg, mushrooms and beans with toast. You get a front door key as well as your room key which is brilliant as we went out of an evening. Really friendly, clean and inviting place and definitely stay here again.

  It was homely and very comfortable with a very good location and for us to visit family. The rooms are gradually being being renovated but bookings are so full its a bit slower for them getting any work done on the rooms at the moment. A central location to lots of interesting places within a short drive & we made the most of our time there. The staff were welcoming and we enjoyed our cooked breakfasts - we stayed 2 nights.

  Fabulous homely B&B, wonderful breakfast and friendly owner

  We had a Faboulous stay, Wonderful breakfast with plenty of options, cereal, different option fried breakfasts, toast juice tea, coffee etc..... We were greeted by the very friendly owner on our arrival who explained everything to us and gave us a wonderful room (room 5) very clean with a lovely comfortable bed and nice bedding. Tv with plenty of channels, en suite bathroom with bath and shower. Loads of room for parking in a really lovely area. We were very impressed with this B&B and wouldnt hesitate to stay here again. Excellent!! Thank you so much :0)

  What a wonderful place to stay. Hosts, breakfast,was lovely and comfy spacious rooms. Very accommodating for our dog. Would highly recommend hosts went above and beyond. Thankyou we shall return

  Although the owners are dog friendly we did not find this a very practical place to stay with our dogs. With 14 stairs and 4 doors from the outside to our room it was not easy to let them out especially through the night. The room doors are very close together and the interior walls not sound-proofed so we found it quite noisy and didn't get much sleep. Didn't use shower as it wasn't very clean. Not much room in a double bedroom for 2 adults with 2 dogs and only one chair to sit on. Only good thing was the breakfast
