A perfect HolidayBorgo Etrusco is the perfect place for a family holiday. The apartments are clean and well furnished. Staff is friendly and efficient and their swimming pool is well cared for and has a children area. The location is awesome! just a few kilometres away from the sea and the beautiful little town of Scarlino. Definitely coming back!

nice and quite! This is a nice vila area with good housing. The bungalows have a ot of space, good airco and nice pool. Friendly and helpfull staff makes your stay pleasant. The area around the park is typical Toscane, though not very exiting. Follonica is a city we rather skip, not well maintained and dirty. Beaches are disapointing and should be avoided during the weekend. Take a trip to Scalino, the old town on the mountain. Good view and soem fantastic restaurants. Also the city of Montemassi is to recommend.

Great stayMy family and I love Italy, especially Tuscany, and this in part thanks to our great experience at Borgo Etrusco. We came here not knowing what to really expect and it was an amazing stay. Proof of that is that we came back a second time. It is a really quiet place and you need to have a car to travel around. It is a short trip to the nearest beach, but the scenery is incredible. We would wake up in the morning and we would have breakfast just outside of our room, looking at Scarlino, a beautiful, tiny medial village. We had a little problem with our bed in our first stay, but it was resolved the second time we came. The facilities in the kitchen were quite good, the bathroom had a functional shower and the main bedroom had a big bed and a good wardrobe . The people at the reception were very kind and told us about the nearest restaurants, beaches and main attractions. The hotel does not a have it's own resturant and we would buy food to prepare from a local shop, in Scarlino Scalo or Bagno di Gavorrano. The hotel has a nice pool where you can relax. I would recomand this place to a family of small children who only want to relax in a beautiful place or to someone like us who wants to explore the region, but also have some rest. We managed to go to Florence, Siena and San Gimignano, Pisa and Lucca, Montalcino and Montepulciano, Massa Marittima as daily trips. We also really liked the beaches in Follonica, Torre Mozza, Baratti Thanks and I hope you all enjoy your stay here!

First-class accommodationThe rooms are spacious , comfortable and equipped with air-conditioners. All the windows are covered with shutters which can be opened and closed from the inside. When you arrive you get a lot of information from the staff about fruit and vegetable stalls, supermarkets, the most beautiful beaches (Cala Violina, Torre Mozza), the sights which are worth visiting in the surrounding area. In addition, you receive a whole bunch of leaflets and maps from the receptionists. Under the swimming - pool you can use a laundry for 4. What we didn't like was that the cleaning women were working very noisily one morning , we tried to ask them to be quiet but they didn't speak English. Before the day of our arrival I sent the reception a message saying we would arrive at around eight or nine in the evening and they answered we should be there by eight at the latest because the reception closes at eight in the evening. I found it a bit inhospitable but on the whole we had a great time there, the villaggio is very quiet even at night, everyone was helpful and very kind, one day the receptionists asked me how I felt and I did the same:)

Typical TuscanyExcellent stay for a typical Tuscan vacation. Far enough from the busy beaches but close to the coast. It was nice and clean. The pool was often crowded but there was always a lifeguard so thats very considerate.
