  Perfect stay!

  Brilliant rooms and bathrooms- modern, clean and spacious. The openers, Viviana and Valentina couldnt do enough to help us and they recommended so many great places to eat and visit. The location is perfect- an easy 10 minute stroll in to the town where there are plenty of restaurants. The pool was fantastic- just beautiful, and all of the food and drinks we had served by the pool by their awesome team were great. We really enjoyed hiring a bike and exploring the coast. The wine tasting and restaurant (Origano) at Cantine Menhir is a must, beautiful wine (we shipped some back) and the best food we had during our visit. Loved our Puglia experience thanks to this beautiful resort.

  An amazing oasis of calm and class

  This is the type of review that you wonder about writing as you want to keep the resort a secret for yourself ! The welcome by owners Viviana and Valentina and the friendliness of all the staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. We stayed for a week and had a great relaxing stay. The apartments are clean, modern and comfortable, towels and pool towels provided and a nice, if small kitchen area for drinks and small meals if you wish to cook. Lovely shower. Great bed and a good size for Italy which often have only standard doubles. Free wifi is not bad if a little patchy at times. The pool is lovely and with only 16 apartments it never gets too busy. The sunbeds are really comfortable and you can order food and drink from the bar. Buffet breakfast in the bar has a good selection of cereals, sweet and savoury items, plus good coffee and is generously from 8 - 11am. Light lunches and early evening food are often available. Parking is secure in the underground carpark. There is a lot of building development in the area and this makes the 10 min walk into Otranto less pleasant with debris, broken glass and un-even pavements to navigate, but this is a minor problem. The town itself is lovely, with a wide choice of restaurants, great if you are a fish lover. I am sure this will improve once the area development is completed. We will certainly recommend and hope to return soon.

  Beautiful accommodation...but lacking

  My family stayed here for several days during our August vacation. The rooms are very nice, well equipped and comfortable. The pool area is great, with plenty of sunbeds and food/drinks available from the attached cafe. Overall, a nice place but several things are lacking. Housekeeping is not every day as was expected, but twice a week, and minimal at that (our floors were not cleaned, sand/dust under the bed). We ran out of toilet paper and I had to ask 3 times before I was finally given a roll. No toiletries are provided, and you are given one set of pool towels to be used for the week. Based on the high price we paid, I would have expected more service. Instead, this was really just a nice room at a self-service type place. The WIFI never worked in our room. The main issue I had is regarding recommendations. We asked several times on different days for dinner recommendations in town, beach clubs nearby, etc and were told each time that it's a very busy time so we really should just remain at the hotel. I understand that August is a holiday month in Italy (I've lived here for over 2 years) but we didn't travel to just sit by the hotel pool for a week and eat the underwhelming cafe food. Eventually we did our own research and planned dinners and outings without the help of the hotel and had a wonderful time. I really enjoyed the area and the hotel room was nice, but I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you are ok with no service and understand that the price includes just the room. It kind of felt like the owners were reluctant to provide recommendations because they want you to stay in the hotel and spend money at the cafe all day to pay for their expensive renovations to add the cafe to the hotel. All the interactions with the one owner gave me a bad feeling, definitely wouldn't recommend staying here.

  Wonderful place to stay

  This place is like an oasis in the middle of a part of Italy where things are generally a bit run down. Everything here is immaculate and well maintained. The pool area is lovely, comfortable and well appointed rooms, the food from the hotel bar was great too and the staff were exceptional. Another bonus is they have a washing machine on site for your use. Our baby got sick during our stay and Viviana couldnt have been more helpful, we were so grateful for all her help. I highly recommend staying here.

  Stylish and comfortable apartments

  A stylish, comfortable and well equipped apartment set in lovely, well maintained grounds with a beautiful swimming pool area. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We only had breakfast one morning and it was excellent, with a variety of local produce and home made pastries, great value at 10 euro. The apartments were a 10 minute walk away from the lovely old town of Otranto with its excellent array of restaurants. Highly recommended.
