  Wedding then familymoon

  This venue for a wedding is breathtaking. Although in the middle of nowhere, our wedding planner managed to coordinate her vendors and the day was a MAGICAL one that we will always remember. We then all enjoyed a fabulous week of fun filled family events that included a tour to Assasi and a Wine tour and Sonia went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an enjoyable one. We will definitely be back to visit over the years.

  Fairytale, romantic, charming venue

  We joined our family at this breathtaking 360 degree views venue for the week to celebrate The BEST wedding ever! Setting perfect for weddings with the sunset light on the surrounding mountains. We were met by the kindest lady Sonia, who welcomed everyone, and was always available if needed with a smile. There is a caretaker who was always at hand if needed. We organised a BBQ for one day and Sonia arranged to order our meats in and delivery on the day! Excellent service! Just amazing! Thank you all the excellent staff at Borgo Basti Creti, we will be back in the future!

  Umbrian paradise!

  Idyllic rolling hills towards the horizon, unspoiled green forests and farmlands, the picturesque centuries-old Borgo, romantic estate gardens and the wonderful Olivi cottage with rural charm, tasteful interior and a spectacular window view over the stunning scenery! We stayed almost a week, but far too short, in this Umbrian paradise  as valued guests of the ever attentive host Sonia! We will return!

  Wedding Week under the Tuscan/Umbrian Sun

  Overall experience: My (now) wife Anna and I chose Borgo Bastia Creti as our destination wedding location with 75 guests. We immediately fell in love with the beautiful property, especially the views over the Tuscan hills, the cypris trees, and olive grove as well as the swimming pool and the rustic cottages. Sonia who manages the property and her whole team couldn't have been better hosts. They made our experience and stay absolutely seamless. We could have not wished for a better place to celebrate our wedding. Location: Bastia Creti can easily be reached from the airports of Rome and Florence as well as the closer airport of Perugia. We had around 75 guests flying-in from around the world and everyone arrived without any problems. Bastia Creti is situated on a hill top, overlooking a beautiful and green valley, covered in olive trees and lots of nature. The views from the property are stunning. In the morning hours a mist would hang over the valley, truly magical. The Rooms/Amenities: The rooms are great especially with some centered around the courtyard and othersfurther away for guests who prefer a bit more privacy. All rooms were perfectly suited, most with fully equipped kitchens. The highlight of the amenities are definitely the swimming pool and the tennis court. Especially the swimming pool has a great size and fits a large group of people comfortably. Service: What really made a difference to other properties we looked at was the service. Sonia and her team were onsite and available to us almost around the clock. They helped us organize numerous activities, such as a wine tasting, a BBQ and a pool party. We always felt welcomed and had no issues at any point.

  Amazing & breathtaking wedding venue

  We've stayed at Borgo di Bastia Creti for several days to celebrate our wedding and spend time with friends & family. It is a genuine gem in the hills of Umbria with spectacular views. The accommodations in 5 separate houses are unique, clean, tastefully decorated, and well taken care of. The entire property is extremely well maintained, from the public areas, gardens, pool, BBQ, tennis court, etc. We could've stayed there forever. Furthermore Sonia (manager) is lovely, welcoming, and goes above and beyond to be helpful with anything from pre-arrival organization to making sure everything runs smoothly during the stay. The entire team working the property is extremely nice and helps to keep everything in perfect conditions. If you're looking for the special place you definitely need to visit Borgo Bastia Creti! Beware: you might fall in love and need to plan several return trips. Thank you again for everything and hosting our dream wedding! Saluti!
