  Fantastic holliday place

  It''s now already the 4th time that we booked our summer holiday at Borgo San Giorgio Always again an unbelievable experience. Located at a beautiful place with a fantastic view. The owner, Claudio takes us to places at Rome where the locals go out for dinner, places that you don't find in tourguides. What this place makes so special is the trips he organises to the beautiful islands Capri, Ischia and boattrips along the coast of Amalfi. Something you never will forget.   heaven on earth

  The hospitallity of Pina and Claudio, the beautifull Umbrian cities, magnificent Rome , the wonderfull Roman summer and the quiet atmosphere in Borgo bring you in a heaven on earth. We were there already several times alone and with children and grandchildren; we enjoyed the Italian cuisine and the " dolce far niente". We booked already another stay for 2015!

  Places to remeber, places to return

  Italy is vast. Italy is rich in culture. Every place in Italy is worth a visit. It is almost impossible to find the right place in the wide range of accommodation options. And yet On a hill near the banks of the Tiber lays Otricoli. A centuries-old accumulation of houses that puffs under the blue Italian summer sky. From the terrace of the village pub you look over the rolling hills of Lazio. And there, half hidden behind some bushes lies Borgo San Giorgio. There you want to be! The Borgo is an ingenious arrangement of cottages, all comfortably furnished and oriented so that each occupant can fully enjoy his privacy. In addition, the pool and the garden is more than spacious enough for all residents. But Claudio, Roman at heart, is the soul of the Borgo. His hospitality is overwhelming and heartwarming. He makes sure that you feel right at home in your new holyday residence. He receives his guests with humor and enthousiasm. He takes his time to welcome everyone and then disappears into the kitchen to prepare a thoroughly Italian meal for all his visitors. Under the stars at cicada song enjoying delicious antipasti, tasty pasta and grilled meat with local vegetables, all accompanied by local wines and, afterwards, dessert and limmoncello There are worse ways to start a vacation. But, Claudio is not just cooking and playing host. Claudio knows Otricolli. And for those who want it, he pushes the boundaries of the village into the center of nocturnal Rome, or even further, into the azure blue of the Amalfi coast. Those who want become partakers of his Italian lifestyle. And the others enjoy in their way what the Italian life has to offer. In Otricoli everybody wins!

  Warm hospitality in a delightlful setting

  We were at the borgo with friends and enjoyed every minute. The stone cottages are very comfortable. They are clean, warm and cosy and the owners, Pina and Claudio, are wonderful hosts - they were truly attentive to our needs. To top it up the surrounding countryside is beautiful and from the veranda of your own cottage you can look out onto the rolling hills of Umbria. It was too cold outside to use the swimming pool in January, but it's the perfect place to go for walks and the kids were really excited to pet the horses. Great value.

  excellent hospitality and fantastic location

  Borgo San Giorgio is a beautiful hideway in Umbria, near Rome surrounded by the fantastic landscape of the Umbrian hills. Claudio and Pina are warm hosts and great cooks. The Borgo is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a large swimming pool. Plenty of opportunities to relax for all ages, we spent our holidays with four families with kids ages 6 - 14y. old. Certainly worth exploring this Borgo and the hospitality of Claudio.
