Excellent place with excellent personnelThis place is great for relaxation, relaxation and more relaxation. It breathes a luxury and style you treat yourself with for a special occasion like being in Indonesia for four months and then closing that time with comfort. We were welcomed by Dayu who takes good care of the guests after they're brought by the excellent driver Wahde who could also do tours around. You don't have to ask for many things, she seems to know what you want by just looking at you and makes it happen. You look thirsty and the question comes if you like a drink, you want to swim and the towel is ready. Swimming is a delight in the clean and good temperature water. The rooms are spacious with a real king size bed with soft mattress and pillow. Both the sink and the shower provide warm water and lighting, although a bit dim, is not provided by the bright white ones but a couple of gentle yellow bulbs. You can order dinner that will be brought from a local restaurant and served in the breakfast "room" with view over the rice fields. There's also a place where you can get a massage, a pool table and a gym as well as a sauna. We didn't go out other than to the market in the village and to a restaurant but they know what's to do in the surrounding area around Bona. Thank you Dayu for the great time my wife and I had!

Don't visit out of season/beginning of seasonFalse advertising! Bar & restaurant......there were neither Meals for 3 nights was HORRIBLE western food take away No lunch option Breakfast option was NON optional- under cooked omelet and bread or nothing Hotel located in the middle of no where Next to no water pressure,no hot water from shower, shower water smelt like poo Lady inning the place was lovely so we feel bad for leaving a bad review,BUT in all honesty it was terrible, falsely advertised and couldn't wait to leave. Ruined our holiday.

Wonderfully relaxing, amazing staffI stayed at Bona Villa for a few days and I am glad i did. I have never experienced such tranquillity. The hotel is alongside a rice field and has a great pool, billards room, a gym and even a sauna (although we didn't use that during our time there). The lovely woman who runs the place was a highlight but nothing was better than the absolute feeling of calm. Beds were comfortable, linen was clean and the grounds were well manicured. The breakfast was good too. I will definitely be back.

Calm and relaxingThe In is a bit off the beaten track. That can be good or bad depending on what ypu are after. The staff is very attentive and helpfull. Rooms are realy big and the bed is great. The only problem for me was that I didn't do my research....I needed to be closer to the city.

The most amazing yoga experience! From the moment I have discovered that I Have won a scholarship and that I will be joining their yoga teacher training I was overwhelmed with excitement and at the same time with worry. I was worried about the new people I will meet, about the teachers, and also about the food. As people say, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. I did however attend few classes at Parahita Kampung Ubud @parahitakampungubud before the training and that is actually how I found out about the scholarship programme on the first place. I absolutely loved my classes with Devi and I was very inspired by the previous course students. Parahita Family has exceeded my expectations with unlimited ammount of support and love, they are the nicest people, with so much passion to make this world better, and a very cheerful attitude towards everyone. Our teachers are the coolest group of talented, patient, experienced people, with big interest in Yoga and positive views on the world. They support and help us to get through not just yoga studies, but also through our personal challenges. Parahita Yoga Training Scholarship, is one of the coolest things the universe sent my way. It is definetely a big challenge as well, since we study from 7am until 7pm with only one day off, but we are treated amazingly well and fed with the best vegetarian food I have tasted. I am unconditionally thankful for such an awesome opportunity and I am very happy to be a part of Parahita Family! If I would get a chance to do it again, I would! I am so motivated to keep practicing and getting better. And I will not forget most of the interesting things I have learned in Parahita! If you are after awesome food, great yoga teachers, and amazing relaxing environment in the middle of corn and ricefields, and a lot of cute puppies! This is the place for you!
