  Nicely renovated but......

  Prices are great and we used to stay here often. They have renovated and did a good job but......We opened the door to our room and should have left. It was obvious the floor hadn't been swept up, wall behind bathroom door was dirty and the molding looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the reno's. When we left the room for supper a few doors down a guy is standing in his doorway smoking pot and this was before it was legal. Another guy is sitting in his room doorway smoking and by the looks of his room didn't leave it much. There were cigarette butts everywhere. The blanket on our bed went onto the floor and stayed there - stains on it. If we hadn't been so tired we would have asked for another room and at about 1AM in the morning we wished we had - party happening with lots of noise and swearing. In the morning beer cans below the balcony showed that a fun time was had by someone. We also found hair in the tub in the morning and it wasn't ours. The restaurant was great - great service and food. And, the staff at the hotel are very nice. We have stayed here before and this is the first time we have been dismayed about how unclean things were and the noise.

  Good Place to Stay

  Reserved in advance for a trip North so was just passing through PG. The staff were personable, easy to chat with, and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept pretty well considering I don't usually. Would stay again next time I pass through!

  LEFT ROOM 12.30AM due to Weed smell, Dogs barking and neighbours loud conversations

  Check in went well, we had a black lab cross, she is old. Dog fee 10$. The room was a lovely asphalt grey and brown. Its clean and from that side it was good, clean etc. As the evening developed we realised that they put all dog owners on top of one another. Two rooms had those little yappy barking handheld dogs in them which kept on and on, then there was a strong smell of dope outside the building, a constant coming and going to our side of the Motel (Drug deals going down???) the hysterical female owner of the two yapping dogs shouting ever so often to shut her puppies up - our dog unsettled and will not go to rest. A lively conversation going on a room above us. its midnight at this point. We packed up about 12.30 am and decided to hit the road. THE WORST NIGHT I EVER had in any HOTEL or MOTEL in 35 years of travel. A complete Gongshow that place. Dont waste your money

  Good place to stay

  The room was a normal motel layout with vinyl plank floors..Nice..comfortable bed , small fridge , coffee machine and microwave.. Any issues were quickly , and efficiency taken care of by the manager.. We will stay there on our return trip

  a great place to stay over the years

  My husband and I have been visiting the Yukon for many years and we stay here on our last night before flying home from Seattle. The rooms are clean! Comfy beds, plenty of towels, TV, wi-fi, a fridge and microwave. The owner is helpful and friendly. One time when we arrived really late, she suggested we order pizza delivered to our room and went ahead and did it! The motel is located in a plaza that has all you could need--gas, laundry, shops, and a car wash which we took advantage of as we had a rental car and it wouldn't do to return it all dusty. There is also a free continental breakfast which always helps us get on our way quickly. Thanks for many good stays.
