  Family Hotel?

  We use to travel to family hotels often, but this was different experience. The hotel is good located the room was nice, but not exceptional... The facility is good, we loved their garden. Really cute and fun! My kids felt very at home at the kids club, really nice activities and the animators were very nice. What makes me doubt about the "Family Hotel" tittle was the customer service. Near the reception there is a small playground for the kids, but the kids need to be quiet... difficult for kids playing, having fun... the receptionist was clearly annoyed by the noise and asked for silence. Other point was the restaurant, there was not really a family feeling on it. We were 8 people and although we reserved on advance, one night they did not have a table for us... Maybe I was expecting more for the price...

  A Nice Location to Explore the Bodensee

  We intended to stay in Meersburg on the Bodensee. We found this beautiful town too busy and expensive so travelled a few kilometres to the Storchen Hotel and Restaurant in Uhldingen-Muhlhofen.The hotel was a good find. It is a 20 minute walk to the Bodensee but in a quiet village. The hotel staff could speak English and were very helpful. The Storchen was clean and had plenty of old school German atmosphere. We loved it. Our room was dated but spotless. We did notice other bedrooms had been updated. Bathroom was fine as was the double bed. Television was limited but in room wifi was free. Parking was not a problem. Our very inexpensive room price included a nice breakfast. The hotel also has a traditional German restaurant serving excellent food. This hotel is highly recommended by us.

  Nice place to stay and visit the region

  After more than two hours of searching a place to stay (in Friedrichshafen and surroundings every hotel and pension was full) we`ve arrived to StorchenHotel and Restaurant in Uhldingen Muhlhofen. The staff at the recepcion desk speaks english and was very kind and helpful. We had an apartment with two bathrooms, a fully equiped kitchen, two bedrooms terrace, and a big living room with TV. The whole appartment was wery clean and updated. The wifi was free of charge. The breakfast was included in the price of the room and it was really consistent. The price included the place to park the car. I just can highly recommend this hotel.

  Not for family with small kids

  The hotel its not what we expected, even duh the workers war always nice and helpful, then hotel lack to fulfill the family experience. The swimming pool its forbidden for people with small kids, they should inform this in the website, ifs not really a place to be if you have dust allergy, because all the rooms have a carpet thats not exactly new and clean, at least not in the regular rooms; and the nursery house has a particular smell to it. Other than that i guess its ok.
