  Great getaway place

  It is a 3star but great location. Room was large, clean, little kitchenette and balcony overlooking ocean. Staff friendly and helpful. Can walk to plenty of cafes and restaurants. Also free bus to many spots. Highly recommend it for a good affordable break.

  Great Motel great location....

  Stayed here once again while in the area....its an older motel but a fantastic place to stay near the ocean ....great views in the sea view rooms with balconies to relax and enjoy the view from....even get birds visiting....walking distance to beach and pools....rooms clean and comfy beds....staff friendly and helpful....

  Disappointed

  The room was extremely dated. The lock on the door unsecure made for a long night as I didnt feel safe. The best part was the restaurant the food was outstanding!! Staff were friendly. Location was great.

  Dont bother

  The location is good and view is nice and front desk was friendly. But the motel is dated and overpriced. My wife said dated is an understatement and way over priced. The room is dilapidated, no fan, no aircon, terrible mattress. The room has not been renovated since the day the motel opened. And whats going on with the roof. It looks like a thousand spit balls have been fired into it. Id venture to say Wollongong is the most overpriced place to stay in the country. Dont bother staying here, it is a dump.

  TERRIBLE!

  This has to be the worst place I have stayed. If we had not paid ahead I would have turned around and left. It is very over priced for what it is. The room is extremely dated and where do I start on the bathroom. I felt like I was at a park with the toilet paper situation. No aircon, not even a fan in the room. And I cant forget to mention the mattress. It was disgraceful. Extremely uncomfortable. It was so saggy. I am sure it was as old as the decor in the rooms, or maybe it came off the side of the road at some clean up week. I still dont understand how anyone in their right mind would think that fake grass in the hallway/stairwell is a good idea, as it is just tacky. I am sure they only ever get people once, as I cant imagine anyone would ever return. Not a great way to run a business, but by the condition on their rooms they couldnt care less about ripping off unsuspecting customers. Then to top off our stay the car park was overrun with old men in Lycra and they dont mind where they put down their push bikes. We had to move one that had been put behind our car so we could get the hell out of there. Take my advice pay a bit more, as you really do get what you pay for. I am lost as to why accommodation is so expensive around there??? It is nothing special. I wont be travelling there anytime soon to watch the rugby again.
