  Modern Clean Motel

  I'd say one of the best choices of Motel when staying Dunedin. Rooms are well equipped, modern and clean. Friendly helpful staff. Was a good choice to begin our holiday in the South island. Good location reasonably central.

  Superior comfort, excellent location

  We had a 2-night stay after completing the Alps to Ocean bike ride. We'd booked a room on the top level and loved the views. The room was very comfortable and very well appointed. The bathroom was fantastic too: underfloor heating and a spa bath big enough for two. We stayed here after the academic year had finished, so had no issues with noisy neighbours, however I imagine it could get a bit rowdy when the students are in, as it is close to the Uni and student housing. Overall though, we cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very happy to have stayed, and I'd consider it excellent value for money.

  Great atmosphere!

  LOVED this hotel! Not only are the owners friendly and knowledgable about the area but it's obvious they take great pride in their property. The grounds are so well thought out and presented - not even a leaf was out of place! This was by far the cleanest accommodation we've ever stayed in. My husband and I are a couple in our mid-40s and we stayed in a loft studio apartment on the 4th floor for 2 nights. (The view from our balcony and the privacy was worth that little bit extra.) Our room was very bright and modern. We had a large selection of pillows to choose from and the bed was super comfy. The double spa tub and the shower's water pressure - outstanding. It felt like a bit of a retreat to us :) The location was perfect for us. Within walking distance of the CBD (about 15 minutes to the Octagon) and about a 10 minute walk in the other direction to the University grounds. We also walked to the Botanic Gardens one morning which took about 25 minutes. We found it to be a good starting point for our drive to the Otago Peninsula as well. It took us less than 1 hour to reach the Albatross Colony and it's about a 10 minute drive to St. Clair Beach. Great value for money and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Highly recommend :)

  Brilliant accomodation in Dunedin

  We stayed at Bluestone on George for two nights in a loft apartment. The room was spacious, clean and had everything needed including a luxurious spa bath. There was ample parking in their car park and its an easy walk to the Octagon and lots of great restaurants. Will only consider staying here next time were in Dunedin.

  Five star accommodation

  The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. Amazing views. It is a very easy walk to the Octagon. Very modern, spacious and well equipped. A lovely spa bath. I cannot fault this property. The accommodation is five star and I can highly recommend.
