  Impeccable service and great hostel!

  I stayed there for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment! The hostel was 5 mins walk to the downtown area. Walking to Cheomseongdae and Anapji may take 15-20 mins. You can also rent bicycles from across the road behind the bus stop for 7000 won a day. Sharon was very kind and extremely helpful. She was able to recommend different routes to take for my journey to Busan! She even went out of her way to call the Nopo bus terminal if they had coin lockers so I can place my bags there before going to Beomeosa! I would definitely stay here again if I do come back to Gyeongju :)

  Professional but unpersonal

  Blueboat Hostels is a chain you will run into traveling South Korea. The concept is good and well planed trough. To much for my personal taste but at least you know what you get. The Gyeongju depandant is perfectly located in the small town close to the train station. You get greeted by nice and really caring staff. Speaking good English. You share a dorm with up to six people and get a privat capsule. Every bed has a curtain for privacy as well privat light, power outlets, a small table and even a heating blanket is included. As usual in Koreas Hostels you dont really get bedsheets so bring a thin sleeping bag. Everything was as clean as you expect and seemed new or at least well maintained. Unluckily the walls are thin and you can here not just the community kitchen in the middle but although the people from the other rooms. Wifi is provided in any area with average speeds (20/20 Mbps). Furthermore a small breakfast, a towel and soap is included as well. With a higher price compared to other options you get what you pay for. A privat stay.

  Best place in Gyeongju!

  This Hostel has everything you need, a comfortable bed, a clean shower/bathroom, a common area where you can meet other travellers and the best receptionist ever! Thank you Sharon for guiding us around in your free time! It was a pleasure to meet you! Definitely coming back to Gyeongju!

  Super helpful owner :)

  This place is super nice - much fancier than what you'd expect from a hostel! Sharon was so kind and helpful and took time to give great recommendations, and even gave me directions to my next hostel :) Free Breakfast was great! Location was right by the station and good local food and really nice coffee shops around.

  Friendly, small hostel

  A bit of the beaten track - but this city is small, Blueboat only has a few rooms, very clean bath + a kitchen to hang out + cook. A breakfast to get you started + VERY helpful staff! There is a locker for your shoes at the entrance + a row of books + maps.
