  Lo mejor de la Punta Oeste (Westpunt) de Curacao

  Me volveria a quedar 100 veces mas en estos apartamentos, son excelentes, tienen una vista espectacular, amplios, limpios, con un balcón maravilloso desde el cual puedes ver caer el atardecer justo en frente, súper romántico! El personal muy amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte. La ubicación de los apartamentos es excelente si deseas relajarte y estar lejos de la ciudad, solo disfrutando de las playas, y es mala si deseas estar cerca del centro y sus tiendas... Si te hospedas en los apartamentos puedes hacer uso de las instalaciones y servicios (wifi, piscina, restaurante, etc) del hotel Rancho El Sobrino totalmente gratis, y este queda como a una cuadra de los apartamentos, te puedes ir caminando sin ningún problema porque el lugar es súper seguro y tranquilo. Lo mejor de todo, son económicos :)

  Beautiful view of the West Point Bay and good food

  We had lunch in this small restaurant attached to the motel. After our Boka Shete visit on the way back to Willemstad, we stopped at this place to grab a bite. The view of the bay is spectacular, you can even see some crazy people cliff diving from another place nearby. The food was good too, a bit on the pricey side though. We tried the barbecued iguana.

  Great location - average apartment

  This review is about the Blue View Apartments, not the restaurant. We stayed here for 9 days and we had a very good time. The location is perfect for exploring the Westpunt and after 14 days in Willemstad it was great to visit this part of the island. The view from the appartments is excellent, you can enjoy the sunset and we even spotted turtles twice. A short walk down some stairs there are a small beach and even though it is not the prettiest beach on the island it is a great location for a morning or evening swim. The apartment itself is basic offers everything you need (but thats it) and the wifi connection is good. Unfortenately the cleaning standard was below average. It is cleaning once a week, which is no problem as its an apartment so I excpect to do some cleaning on my own. But when they first came to clean they did not to a very good job. We found hair on the sheets (not ours) after they changed the beds and in the bathroom. There are no TV in the apartments, but for us that was no problem. The small terrace was nice, but unfortenately it was so warm and moist that is was almost impossible to sit there for a long time. We might have been unlucky with the wind direction during our visit ofcourse... All in all - A good place for the price, but with a little extra love this place would have been highly recommended. We enjoyed our time and the staff at the reception was so friendly. Please note that the reception is at the Rancho El Sabrino.

  Great apartments

  Blue View Apartments are well-furnished, located next to a small beach and made our three day stay at Westpunt very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the apartment was quite large, kitchen well-equipped.... only a few points for improvement: - the water in the bathroom is lukewarm. I didn't need to turn open the cold water tap because the hot water wasn't really hot. It may have been a little warmer for me. - I requested check-in between 14 and 15h and got confirmation of this... however, the rooms weren't ready yet. We could leave our bags in the uncleaned rooms though (which was no problem for us). - I needed to fill in my credit card number on a piece of paper... which is highly unusual! The receptionist told us that it was for if we wanted to eat something in the restaurant, it would be charged on the room and so the credit card would be used to pay for it. We did that (otherwise there's no sense in writing my card information on a paper?) and then got an email of the property saying that we hadn't paid and they'd charge the credit card... sending a copy of the signed contract attached to that email! It felt like we were thieves and had breached the contract :( I'd recommend this property to use a more adequate payment system instead of having to write down financial information on a piece of paper. What if it gets stolen? (wouldn't be the first time that my credit card was "hacked"). Apart from these points I had a really great stay and would definitely recommend Blue View Apartments for a longer stay on the island.

  Fantastic View

  This self contained apartment has a kitchen, that isnt well stocked, an en-suite, air, and a balcony where we spent all our time looking out over the water. The sunsets were fabulous. There is a beach below that is quiet, local and provides swimming at will. A small restaurant provides good eats. Westpunt is quiet and low key. An excellent dive shop is nearby. Several local tourist attractions including a cliff that people jump off and a beach where you can snorkel or dive with the turtles are minutes away.
