  Perfect place for family getaway

  It's a pleasant stay during our stay at the hotel. All was fine. The room was ample enough to accommodate 2 adult and 1 child. The floor was equipped with thick carpet. The bath room equipped with bat tub so you can have a long bath in it. The breakfast variety was good enough. From East to West menu available. The pool available for adult and child.

  Currently staying in The Blue Sky Hotel whilst Covid-19 quartining before joining a vessel for offshore work. Food is of a high standard. Some rooms such as mine are a little dated but other rooms are more modern. Staff are excellent, attentive and friendly.

  A great place to stay.

  Had to stay here for work for 5 weeks in a 3 month period. My first room was one of the older style rooms facing the road, which was a bit noisy. However the room was spotless and well maintained. My next two rooms were in the newer part. Both were spacious, clean and comfortable - one having a kitchenette and balcony. Food was good, but while on COVID quarantine the room service often arrived lukewarm, but given the large numbers of people ordering room service at the same time this may explain it. The only real complaint I had about the food was that when I ordered the burger, twice the burger came undercooked (raw in the middle) despite me ordering well done. However the rest of the meals were delicious, and I can recommend the food from the Japanese and Chinese on site restaurants. The staff were excellent and very friendly. I would be delighted to return to this hotel if ever in Balikpapan again.

  Recommended Hotel to stay with family for holiday and bussines trip. Free room upgrade from bussines to executive room, thanks to front desk staff. Any variatif Breakfast menu, chinnesse, western, indonesian, japanesse cuisine

  Good Hotel

  Stay here for 10 days in quarantine requirement before onboard to the offshore vessel. Good response staff, clean room and big room. The hotel located on next of KFC and also street food along the road
