  Excellent Apartments away from the madness.

  After arriving in my first accomidations, I was distraut. I was recommended Blue Sky Apartments by friends and moved. Brand NEW. Fully refurbished. Each Apartment fits 4 people. There is a small kitchen in the apartment, and a pool next door for all to use. The great thing about Blue Sky is, you are 500 meters from the Malia strip but you don't hear it! Close enough to the night life, but you still achieve a relaxing sleep. A touch of class has finally arrived in Malia.

  Shares pool with 18-30 HOTEL MIRAGE

  Having just returned from a weeks stay at Blue Sky apartments for our girls holiday in Malia I felt it only fair to share our experience. Each Apartment fits 4 people. There is a small kitchen in the apartment, and a pool next door for at the neighbouring Mirage Hotel ( a Club 18-30 hotel with loud music and reps) for all to use. The great thing about Blue Sky is, you are 500 meters from the Malia strip, located opposite Candy Club and the entrance is found in between two take out restaurants, but you don't hear it when youre in the room! Staying as a party of 3 girls, we arrived soon in the middle of the afternoon and having problems with our transfer not dropping us anywhere near our hotel, the owner finally found us in the car park to check us in and direct us to our room. The rooms are fairly standard but are just like the photographs from the website so no major surprises or disappointments - we particularly appreciated the balcony terrace with plastic tables and chairs and the initial cleanliness of the room. We chose to pay for Air-Con as the room would have been completely unbearable without (49 euros for the week). It wasnt the most effective air-con as the power could only be left on with the key fob in the lock, and the air con machine only being in the master bedroom. Two towels each were provided and refreshed every couple of days. The rooms were also cleaned on a near daily basis, although the language barrier was quite evident here with the cleaner storming into the room while we werent ready, or cleaning the room whilst we were sleeping. We also suspect a couple of items/ euros went missing during this time so Id recommend placing valuables in the safe (free of charge). The bathroom was ample sized with a decent sized window and shower. The location of the apartments are ideal - a minute walk from the strip but far enough out so that you couldn't hear the noise at night. The beach was also a short 10 minute walk away. The grounds surrounding the apartments were immaculately kept and wifi (1 a day) was fairly reliable. Overall Blue Sky is ideal for small groups visiting Malia that dont want to go for 18-30 but want to be in the centre of the action. P.S It is worth noting that we had issues finding these apartments and our transfer bus refused to drop us here as he didnt know where it was. If you are looking for the hotel entrance it is opposite Cloud 9 Bar/ Candy Club and signposted on the road.

  Great Hotel!

  Myself, along with 8 friends had a brilliant time staying here for 10 nights. The staff were great to us and the facilities provided were top notch! Additionally, with the shared pool bar next door, free wifi and a free safe in every room, I highly doubt you will find a better budget hotel than this.

  Great location,friendly stuff,clean and cozy rooms,close to everything you need! Would love to come here again!Very kind Natalia meet us on reception,showed the room and helped with anything we need even anti mosquito repellent!Thanks for such a great holiday!

  Blue sky apartments. Kato. Gouves

  Wonderful location. The apartments are run by a family who were so friendly. I strongly recommend staying here. The owner, Yanis, even gave us lifts to his family run restaurant, as my friend had injured her leg and couldn't walk. Food was fantastic, and Maria, his daughter was so kind and helpful. The pool was cleaned daily and the place was spotless. The apartments are very near a lovely sandy beach, with no hills! There are supermarkets within about 5 minutes walk from our apartment. Would definite go back again.
