  Birthday getaway

  We stayed in the Lark suite for two nights in December -the views of the ocean, moonrise, and sunset were amazing. The room was very clean and private but the only issue is the noise from the Blue suite below. On the second day the guests below us had a loud little toddler who was screaming and running around very early in the morning so we could not sleep. We could here him running, screaming and banging on the floor the entire time as soon as they checked in. This room is very pricey so my suggestion is better sound proofing for these rooms or maybe no kids allowed in the suites. Otherwise this hotel was the prefect little escape and the breakfast boxes and coffee they delivered to the rooms was a nice little touch. Despite the noise and being woken up by screaming children I would stay here again

  Winter Getaway

  Loved our time at Blue Inn on the beach just wish it were longer! Service was excellent and room was spacious and clean. They thought of everything and I appreciate the amenities! Had a steam shower that I loved! Staff was available to assist with any questions!

  Oceanfront suite

  The most beautiful oceanfront suite. Top notch service and easy checkin. Hot tub is right off the main living area so we didnt have to go far in winter cold. Huge deck and living space. Amazing ocean views. I cant wait to go back!

  Great little getaway with FANTASTIC beach views

  Lark hotels NEVER disappoint with cleanliness, friendliness, quality and professionalism!!! We are in the process of hitting all of the Lark hotels we can in the next year or so!! ALWAYS a great choice!!

  Romantic Getaway

  This is one of our favorite places to get to whenever we can. Blue Inn is set up perfectly for maintaining distance from others while getting close to your partner. The environment is classic cottage white and blue Beach with modern lines. It is safely perched directly above a long sandy beach with its own direct access in season. The surf is crashing right outside your door. We find it always to be kept very clean. When you arrive you may be welcomed by Maddie who always has a friendly smile and welcomes us by name every time. The Inn Keepers Tyler and Catherine are a lovely young couple, super friendly and helpful and they have that legitimate southern charm and ability to connect with guests that is typically hard to come by up here in the north. They are experienced professionals who have worked at other resorts in other parts of the country and a pleasure to get to know. To get the most from your stay plan ahead. Bring foul weather gear if it looks inclement. Youll be surprised how fun and romantic a beach walk is in the rain with the waves crashing beside you. We pack our favorite wine and cocktail mixers, we bring a cheese and charcuterie board and we order an Ottos Pizza. There are several good restaurants in Newbury Port that deliver if pizza is not your thing. Most importantly, this a fantastic place to connect with your partner as the only distractions are sand and waves.
