Brilliant HolidayI have been to Blue Horizon a couple of times and it is brilliant. We had an apartment that was on the same level as the pool so we could bring a coffee or a beer out. The pool area had lovely timber beds and big umbrellas for shade. It is a very peaceful place no loud music which is great. My daughter loved swimming in the pool and if she got bored as teenagers do she could go back to the apartment which was so near. The apartments are within walking distance of HEC RESIDENCE Hotel and the MAESTRAEL HOTEL also Przno village where there a couple of restaurants and bars. It also has a lovely beach. Budva is 10 min by car and it has so much to offer. There are lovely walks and one of my favourite is walking to Sveti Steven. I will definitely be returning to Blue Horizon.

Nice apartmentWe rented one apartment through HEC Residence (hotel below the apartments) through booking. 55 sqm apartment, in good condition, and cleaned every day. Access to a large communal pool, with long chairs. Przno beach (small) is 6 min walk, but with stairs (we had 2 babies), with nice restaurants.

Apartments nextto hotel, privately owned so very different in furnishings and level of maintenanceIt is a bit hard to find, up a steep road behind the HEC Residence hotel (which also functions as reception for the apartments). Spacious complex with many apartments. We were allowed to look at 2 and choose. Beware: they are privately owned and furnished very differently. The one we chose, was because of its location near pool and on 1st floor. The other one was right at the back of the complex, 4th floor and no lift. Ours was not very well maintained, I could have drawn up a long list of repairs it required. But it was just abou OK for staying there for a week and mainly to lseep and have breakfast. Only for people who are reasonably good walkers!

Montenegro lovely but wouldnt go back to Blue HorizonWe arrived after trying to find the apartments for over an hour as they are not sign posted anywhere and we rented a car from the airport. We asked numerous locals who dont speak good English to eventually find out we needed to go to Hotel Residence which we had never been told when booking or via email. When we finally arrived and were taken to our apartment the lift didn't work. We walked past the pool and it was only one quarter full with very dirty water in it, we asked when the pool would be ready and were told "tomorrow". On the very last day (we stayed a week) as we were wheeling our suitcases to the car men were in the pool with drills ( at 07:30 in the morning i might add) taking the tiles off the bottom of the pool floor and since the first day it never had water in it. Most days the weather was a good 25 degrees but we had to resort to sunbathing on our balcony as there was no where to sit around the pool and no pool to go in. Along with the men drilling in the pool this noise would happen most morning with men starting work around 07:30 on a morning and lucky for us the work started two floors above our given apartment on someones balcony which isn't what you want when you go away to relax and sleep in, instead we were woken up 5 days out of 7 to noisy workmen outside. Along with all this the oven in our apartment didn't work and every time we tried it blew out the whole electric to the whole apartment. The television didn't work either so couldn't watch this and when we tried to turn the shower on the water went everywhere as there was more coming out of the pipe than the shower head itself. My partner tried to rectify this and found some cellotape and had to cellotape the shower head to the pipe for us to be able to use it. We did tell reception about this and was told someone would come out to us in the morning but we no one did, someone came in to clean the property but nothing more. We were also given a parking space on arrival which was constantly being used by other people so we had to find elsewhere to park which meant we were told off by one of the staff at least 3 times which shouldn't happen when you are a paying customer. Overall I wouldn't say it was a good experience within the hotel, it might be because the season had only just started but I couldn't understand why they were only just starting work on the apartments when the season was starting, it should have been done out of season so it didn't affect people who were holidaying there. Montenegro however is simply beautiful! Even though the season had just started it will still busy on a day time. At night it wasnt busy at all and most times we were the only people in the restaurant.

Nice spot in a lovely little villageMy husband, 4 year old and I stayed here for 10 days late August and had a great time. It was end of the season so not busy round the pool, in Przno village or on the roads. The pool clean and lovely and our 1 bed apartment was ample size and decorated in a modern style. We did have to move to a different one due to an electrical fault and the second one was lovely light and airy as was on the top floor. Kitchen in both was well equipped, you need your own soap, cloths etc though and washing machine was handy. Only negative I'd say would be the apartments are high up on a steep hill and it would be tricky with a buggy or children who don't like walking. The walk to the town/beach is also down quite a few stairs and not the prettiest but it's okay. We booked through Balkan Holidays and our apartment was looked after by the hotel HEC Residence located in front of it (I think others were privately owned). Reception was 24 hours and relatively attentive and helpful. We didn't use their pool, bar or restaurant although we could have. Przno is so pretty and quiet, we ate in most places and never had a bad meal although I'd say prices in Przno were higher than other towns and the food shop was tiny. Seafood is the staple of most menus, meat is less common, most beach from restauranta have outdoir seating right on the waters edge to enjoy the amazing sunsets. We would definitely go back to Przno, the pine walk to Milocer was lovely and although it's very small, the beach is nice and sandy. The local bus is very regular and we found it easy to use public transport. We went to Kotor, Budva and Lake Skadar (virpazar) all on public transport and had no problems.
