  Shockingly bad

  Came here in July, do not like to leave a bad review but unfortunately I have to after seeing several "amazing ones" which I cannot understand. Stayed here for a week with family, cleanliness shocking in apartment, so many additional prices for absolutely everything - toilet paper, air conditioning, no internet available in rooms at all which was shocking as was advertised as available. It seemed to us the owners didn't like the fact we chose not to eat at their "restaurant" - overpriced and didn't look fresh what came out. We were questioned about where we ate how much we paid etc etc. Will not be returning Roda we found to be a really friendly place however this apartment with restaurant and bar we were incredibly disappointed with after reading all the reviews cleaning it was going to be amazing.

  Family holiday

  I have to say I am very surprised to see any bad reviews about Blue Gardens. I know every one has their own opinion but mine is it is a wonderful place. Over the last 20 years I have traveled to a lot of the Greek Islands and had a great time in all of them. I have been to Blue Gardens for the last 4 years and never had anything but a wonderful time. Me and my son, who has autism, love the place and the people. Andreas, Elena and Mariantia have always gone out of their way to make us welcome. I will never forget the time they searched the island till they got the juice drink that is the only one he drinks, If you have a child with autism you will know how important this is. I could go on all day about the things they have done for us from acting as interpreter with the doctor or driving me to the dentist, the god deeds they have done for us are to many to mention. For people with very little experience of autism, from day one they adjusted very quickly to his ways and included him in every thing he wanted to. I know this may sound a bit over the top but, again, if you don't have a child with a special need you will find it hard to understand how much this means. As for accommodation it's not 5star but perfect for a holiday. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced and whatever you do don't miss the Greek night . A special shout out to Marihthi for the way she engages with my son.

  Renewal of wedding vows

  We renewed our wedding vows here beginning of September we had a few issues while there but totally enjoyed our day it was our 25th wedding anniversary the apartments are in a beautiful setting with a beautiful pool the family work hard to make sure people enjoy their holiday.We were a big family with 6 rooms in use at the time with one family using the maisonette for a family of 7 which Elena put extra beds in for us and another family of 5. I agree with some of the reviews especially about the cleaning could be better and charging for toilet rolls in all my years of travel I have never had to buy my own toilet roll in any hotel or apartments. We ate here quite a few nights yes the food is much more expensive than in Roda but it was all nice and you could choose anything and they would cook it. Elena even found someone to come and doing my nails for me I had Lynda Grey come to my apartment and do all my bridesmaids hair my daughters hair and my hair and makeup the local fairytale cake shop up next to Roda oasis hotel done my cake. So although we had some issues we had a brilliant wedding here in fact if you are thinking of holding a wedding here go for it the blue gardens done all the catering for us and arranged champagne and even took photos. Elena also arranged all my flowers for me as well

  Amazing holiday

  We stayed here for 10 nights with our 2 teenager daughters, the apartments are very comfortable with everything you need, surrounded by fruit and vegetable trees. The complex is fantastic with 2 pools , inflatables are included and also sun lotions. The food is amazing , traditional Greek or if you want English they will cook it for you. The Greek night is fabulous, food is beautiful and lots of dancing. I would definitely recommend staying here, a 10 minute walk to the beach too. I would recommend hiring a car as theres so much to see.

  Great stay

  Just spent a relaxing week at the Blue Gardens. Eleni is a wonderful host and while the bar and pool were closed due to covid we still had a great stay.We ordered drinks for the balcony through messenger at very reasonable price brought by Eleni to your room. Julie and Neil.
