NIGHTMARE!We had booked 4 rooms after reading good reviews. But our nightmare started the moment we reached. the manager Mangesh had called to confirm by when would we reach the hotel. As the check in time was 11 am I informed him we would reach by 11:30 as we were driving from Pune. But when we reached at 11:30 am, we were informed our rooms would be ready in another 15 mins (first lie). We noticed there were no sanitizers kept anywhere in the reception, the garden space was unkempt, the swimming pool was green with moss and the bar portion of it was dry and filled with garbage. (The pool is right in the middle of the garden space btw. After 30 mins the rooms were still not ready. I requested Mangesh to look into the matter as we were travelling with my elderly parents and kids and wanted to check in to the rooms as they were tried. he made some calls and assured us the rooms were almost ready and one was ready to be moved into. My father went to the room but noticed the bed covers were strewn around and the room was still untidy. I asked the ladies working in the other rooms and they simply ignored me. I raised this with mangesh again and he said he will personally look into this and get the rooms ready asap (lie 2). After another 30 mins still no update. meanwhile we noticed a lot of other customers complaining about late check ins, food not being adequate for breakfast buffet and a lot of other issues. One gentleman even walked upto us and said he also had a late checkin of close to 2 hours. I still continued talking to mangesh politely considering they were short on staff as per him. But after waiting for close to 1.40 hrs i did lose my cool and demanded an answer as to why the rooms were not ready for which he started giving some vague answers and just got onto another call while ignoring us. he even accused me of losing a customer because i was complaining at the front desk! seeing my parents in discomfort and with the lack of hygiene maintained through out the property (there was dog poop in the grass outside which some unsuspecting guest had tramped through the reception area) we decided to take a refund and check in to another hotel. Mangesh agreed to give us a refund bcs i was creating a scene but even smirked when he realised that at the last moment all other hotels were charging us a bomb. Thankfully we made a few calls and got a decent accommodation elsewhere. When i informed him that we were not gong to stay at Blue country and he should process our refund as promised he changed his tune and started requesting us to give his team a chance to service us and we should change our opinion. i clearly refused and demanded a refund which he started delaying saying the head office needs to give a sign off for it. I waited another 20 mins for him to simply give us an acknowledgement that the refund will be paid soon. I insisted that he sent this over an email bcs i had lost all trust in him and his so called service. Finally at around 1:45 pm we finally managed to get out of this place and checked in to another hotel. Our advance payment was finally refunded after three days by cheque payment. Note: The property is really good if maintained well but currently it is in doldrums and poorly maintained and NO COVID precautions are in place.

Please rethink twice before booking this hotel...beware1st up of all blue country resort is worst hotel ever visited Read points below 1) at reception no one to attend call for service. Its vacant reception 2) about food quality its vry bad for taste with vry limited option..never think abt free complimentory breakfast rather eat somewhere.. 3) hygiene during making food vry bad..rather small stall roadside better take care during food 4) cold without salt breakfast dey provide 5) after u order food at room..evertime diffrent person recwives call n later after 30 minuts dey usued to say sorrywe forgot to recejve ur order For me provided food at 11 pm after 90 mjns of waiting 6) while checkout at morning..again no one at reception...floor ckeaning person attends u n says boss ll come..n make ur bill..so i had to wait for one hr to manager to come n n make u bill..n later dey not provided soft copy of bill So basically worst exeperince at blue country resort From recwption nonqualified person to bad food..plz dont go n waste ur valuable n good time at blue resort Thr r other so many resort plz go thr.. This resort just name...swiming pool full with dirt its just wastage of ur hard earned money n our trip

Pervert StaffA friend of mine spotted a staff secretly recording her as she was changing. Not to get into the details of it but our whole experience was disgustingly ruined and moreover the staff let the pervert guy escape twice. BEWARE EVERYONE! Writing this has took us a lot of courage, but the dark truth must be known to all.

Best tripIn the current situation, it is difficult to choose a hygiene place for your short holiday, but somehow blue country resort Panchgani grabbed our attention and I must say that their hospitality and services were excellent, also, their sanitization was also good. strongly recommended for families.

Great experience at a reasonable priceIt Was a Very Good Stay In Blue country resort, Panchgani Every Staff Member is very polite and friendly. Rooms are big and good With nice amenities and service was really great. I would like to visit again.
