Not awful, but not good eitherDriving up to this building, the heart sinks. It looks terribly run down. I wasn't even sure at first where the reception was, as the front has almost an abandoned look about it. Once I got inside thing began to improve. The room was a good size, with a nice bay window looking out over lots of trees (but not the water, unfortunately). I also cannot fault the cleanliness. This place certainly needs a paint and some new furniture and appliances. The furniture is old and bears the marks of decades of careless visitors. The power button on the twenty year old TV (I remember that model being advertised when I bought my first TV) had broken off and apparently I was expected to insert a long thin object to switch it on and off. The remote control was nowhere to be seen. The blankets were old, pilled and had a slightly musty smell. The bed was a bit saggy and lumpy. But as I said, it was clean, and it was in a pleasant environment. It was also close to the ferry terminal and retail/food zone.

Not love at first sight! We chose this hotel for one night as it was near the pier and bus station travelling to Pangkor island. From the ouside it kooks like ut has been closed for about 5 years. It needs a paint job urgently. We ventured inside the reception was ok and the staff friendly. The walk to the room was an eye-opener.W padded the pool which wad full of fully clothed locals guests and residents and the water green/brown.The hotel has rooms for guests and local families also live in them and of course use the pool. The room was clean and really big .It haf a fridge, kettle and ancient tv with no remote.Breakfast was ok a choice of European or Malaysian. The staff and all the people guests and local residents were all very friendly but i think Lumut must have better options.

Never judge a hotel by its lookFrom the outside, it looks like a run-down building that needs a new coat of paint. Inside the lobby, only bare minimal lights, as cost saving measure. However, the reception person is very professional, polite and well-informed. Registration is a breeze. We took 2 rooms, requesting near to each other. Surprisingly, we got connecting rooms , which is a plus point. Rooms inside are from the 80s furniture (which my wife recalled her days with KL Hilton). Generally, the rooms are clean, well-kept with working aircond. Room toilets are clean as well, the same goes to the Pool. Breakfast is a la carte. Those with coupons, can choose the type; local or western. Food is surprisingly good. Overall, it For the price that I am paying, I have no complaint. Recommended for budget hotel in Lumut.

Simple room to stayThis was my second stay. From the outside, you might think twice to check in. The room quite nice with basic amenities. Have two single or one king size bed depends on your needs. There is a bathtub but no carpet (only tiles floor). Still using a CRT TV with FTA channel (no Astro or Vision 4 channel). Using a split type air-conditioners but enough to cool the room until 22 deg celcius. I stay at room 315 with a good view to the swimming pool & the sea. One disappointment was, we cannot use the swimming pool because its under maintenance the day that we stayed.

Excellent Customer Service!:)At first, I was scared because the hotel from outside looks as if it was closed for a decade. It was really scary. BUT I did enjoy my three-day stay there because the people working there took the extra mile to take care of me. By the way, Hi, Christi!:) She made my stay in that hotel super awesome!:)
