Great location is not enough 2The location is amazing and the ski slopes are fantastic. One of the most beautiful places for skiing in April. The glacier is at 3000m altitude and offers many lifts and ski slopes for all levels . On the other hand the hotel was a star long long ago.It needs renovation. The facilities are strangely organised.Ski locker is up the hill, so after ski you have to walk up the hill almost 1/2 km. At check in you get a card for every thing you want to buy -the problem is its only one.The key for the room and the ski locker only one! Imagine how convenient is that when you have small kids and have to slit .For example I have to ask the reception to open my room at night because my wife is already sleeping with the kid?! The rooms are spacious and seem to have everything needed but bathroom floods every time you take a shower, brown water runs from taps. The room is very dark and the lights not enough. You have to pay 5 Euro for bath robe?! Its not in your room. You have to carry 2 Euro for locker ate the spa/swimming pool . The staff on the other hand was polite and very helpful .

Average to poor customer experienceThis hotel is located in very good place especially if you want to have skiing late in the spring. However it is not enough. Customer experience might be even more important than the location. Here it is my experience... you decide... We were welcomed in hotel Zirm with long list of rules of the hotel and punishment if something is broken or lost. Then family of 3 people should live in the hotel with 1 key for the room and 1 key for ski wardrobe packed together. Very inconvenient especially if you move around separately... and we have a kid at 3.... We asked for second key but they refuse... Whatever you want to use have a price, of course, but it comes on top - 2 for this, 5 for that... and so on. Too boring for me. In the restaurant food was good however waiters take away your plate while youre still eating ... And finally - the animation for kids. Available 10-12 am and 15-18 pm. If I want to have skiing it is not an option. At all. So, after a week there we get back home with very mixed feelings: location was good, sloops were perfect, time with friends was great but.... a bitter taste in the mouth.... Or in other words: I was not relaxed, somehow I felt the opposite.

Ski experience in AprilBeen in hotel Kurz in the period 30.03 to 06.04.2019 with a group of friends. Absolutely stunning nature around and we experienced at least 3 sunny days enjoying the ski slopes. And I must say - stunning view form my room window to the sunrise and the mountains. The rooms were very spacious. As a former hotel professional with 22 years of experience, I find some of the standards and services pretty odd. For example the few sheets of paper they give you on check in - with their rules, and mainly what`s forbidden and what extra charges you have to pay. The Hotel is perfectly located near to the Funivia, 4chair lift and the 8person gondola, but is hughely lacking technical maintenance. The rooms need rather urgent renovation, especially the bathrooms and carpets. The fact that they give you just one key per family room of 4 pax is quite an issue. The ski storage is located in the basement, but there is no direct access to elevators, i.e to the rooms. The door of the place is always open, so it is always very cold. The ski boots heater is with limited spaces, so i could not use it. The spa area is newly renovated and quite nice, but they forbid you to bring towels from the room (I guess also some personal one), they ask you to pay for one instead - 2 euro each visit. For using their lockers you have to carry in your swimming suit another coin of 2 euro...so in other words not very user friendly. But all and all we were quite happy of the vacation spent. A very memorable one!

Fantastic locationThe hotel is in a fantastic location with plenty of activities on its door step for all abilities. Plenty to do for families with kids as well. The hotel is in an old building but well maintained and clean. The staff is very welcoming, polite, professional and prepared. Special mention to Alice and Roberta. Alessia at the mini club was very good with children. She has a lot of energy organising different activities including short walks and the evening baby dance. The cherry on the cake was the trip to the horse riding centre nearby where children could pet goats and guinea pigs and ride a pony. The breakfast was good with a selection of sweets and savouries. The packed lunch was very convenient and we'll proportioned. The light lunch also was good. The open bar very convenient with a stunning view. The only disappointment was the dinner. The selection was quite wide but the quality of the products was not great. A lot of pre packed, tinned products with very little cooking involved. Particularly disappointing the dessert selections given the area quite famous for its cakes. I understand the quality ingredients and a chef to cook quality food is an expensive affair. To improve the dinner experience I would not offer the light lunch but only the packed lunch also slightly increase the price of the stay as it was very cheap. These should provide the finances to provide a better dinner. At the open bar I would also remove the presence of a permanent staff but having a waiter inspecting every hour or so to ensure cleanliness. If the dinner is improved I would definitely return. The pool area was good, the locker rooms were clean and tidy. The cleanliness at the pool itself should be improved. The pool is all the same depth meaning young children must be closely supervised at all times. They do not provide towels or bath robes free of charge. This was a bit of a disappointment as I could have brought our own but we did not know. The spa was good and clean the massage service was also good.

Amazing people working thereMy girlfriend and I stayed there for our first week ever skiing. We want to start mentioning the awesome staff of the hotel: young and helpful people!! In the hotel you can have fun with the entertainment team which are funny and always smiling: Lorenzo, Thomas, Roberto, Attilio, Rossella and Nicole really made our vacation. The hotel is very well situated, walking distance to the ski park, with awesome rooms and clean environment. There is a parking space for sale, a free box for all the snow stuff. If I have to suggest something the breakfast could be better with more options and a real coffe included on the price. Hoping to stay there next year too!! Paolo e Greta
