  Good place, but overpriced

  We stayed here one night. The location is very good, in the heart of Lijiang, room was spacious and there was a very nice yard. The English level of the staff was not very high. They offered to arrange transport to the airport for us, but wanted to charge almost double of what one would pay to a taxi.

  Friendly staff, pretty setting, noisy at night

  Joyland Location- The staff was very helpful and accommodating to our group of foreigners, though they do not speak English. The hotel is quite pretty and is in a great location. The walls of the rooms are very thin and if you are a light sleeper and you have neighbors who are being rowdy until early morning you wont get much sleep.

  Boutique hotel in the middle of Old Town

  Great location next to the market. Good night sleep. Good selection of movies to watch on the hotel television. Old style hotel in the culture of old China. I would stay here again. Because of the language barrier, they didn't inform me of the WI-Fi password, but I'm on vacation and it was a nice break from the internet.

  Beautiful large traditional Chinese rooms with a balcony and a nice bathroom. This place provides a good Chinese breakfast, and there is fresh-leave tea available in your room. One of the nicest place we have stayed in Yunnan. It is a 10-15 minutes walk from the road where a taxi can drop you off. It is advisable to contact the hotel to let them know you are arriving so that they may send someone to pick you up and walk you through the maze of streets typical of Lijiang. They have two hotels with a similar name, and it is quite confusing and not easy to find.

  Perfect location and quaint inn (but limited service)

  The Blossom Hill is perfectly situated in the middle of the Ancient Town of Lijiang. The Inn is centered around two courtyards, which invites guest to meet and engage with other guests in the traditional Naxi-fashion. The building is old, but clean and well maintained with character. The Inn has limited services, except breakfast (but no coffee!). Across my four days the staff was friendly, but none of them spoke any English; so practice your Mandarin or go for google-translate! If youre after a quaint inn experience - and dont need services - this is a great choice.
