  Overpriced, in desperate need of renovation

  The B&B rooms in Sjövillan are completely overpriced. Most hostels/vandrarhem offer better rooms at half the price. The place has potential but has not been renovated since about1980. Björkudden has a new management since 3 months back. The manager agreed that renovation is much but refused to reduce the price. We will not come back.

  A nice finish to hiking the High Coast Trail

  I backpacked the High Coast Trail from north to south, and planned to stay the night at the south terminus, prior to returning to Stockholm. The rooms at the other hotel nearby (closer to the bus stop, and cheaper) were all sold out, so I booked here. The entryway was nothing special, but the room was quite pleasant, and the bathroom was perfectly fine. Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful (though I may have been effected by a week of hiking food). I then spent a couple of hours in the bar, enjoying some beer and chatting with other guests, while going through some of my trail photos. I really enjoyed the setting and atmosphere of the place. Breakfast was excellent, and again, I thought the room (also the restaurant) was lovely.

  Cutest little hotel by the sea

  Right on the shore of the sea, next to the Hoga Kusten bridge, you will find this little gem. Comfortable and clean but simple rooms. Fantastic restaurant. The menu leaves nothing to wish for and the staff was the best and nicest. Well stocked bar with local specialities. There is a gorgeous terrace with sea views where you can either eat outside or just stop for a drink in the sun. In front of the view of the bridge there is a sauna for hotel guests. You can take a dip in the sea right outside of it. Only down side was the breakfast. It was kind of poor. And they serve a buffet in spite of the corona situation. That was not what we expected.

  Lovely view and restaurant

  The room was large and had couches. They however Forgot to put towels In the room, it was fixed when we told reception. The room did not have air conditioning and it meant it was too hot for both of us to sleep in the bed that was a bit too small. My husband had to sleep on the couch. The restaurant had exceptional food and the breakfast was also very good.

  Very nice rooms and place around hotel. Suoer nice view. We are on the way to Luleå. I strongly recommend a stay. Even a Sauna in the room. And a beach. They also some good activities and very good food.
