    A Cozy & Comfortable Stay

This was our first stop after arriving in Japan. We were so pleased with the friendliness of the staff. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable. We had a great room with a view of the ocean. The octopus (tako) was incredibly fresh and the best I have ever eaten. This inn also had entertainment at night with traditional dancing and taiko (drumming). I also loved the little shop in the lobby and bought a lot of delicious cookies. My mom and I would definitely stay here again.

Good ocean view and private hot spring room

The hotel isn't modern compare to other hot spring hotel but with that price, you cannot complain too much. The room has a new ocean view which is best for the sunset. It also has a 50 minutes private hot spring room that you can reserve. Remember to ask for it. The Breakfast and dinner is included which the quality is great. Don't miss the drum show at the evening.

    Old style traditional Onzen

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel's traditional friendly atmosphere. It's feels more family style than professional hotel operator. The dinner service was a pretty decent kaiseki style, although not particularly fancy or impressive, the food was good and the service was nice. We were pretty late so missed the show and were the only ones in the restaurant. The hotel room was a very traditional tatami decor. If you like sleeping on futons and enjoy traditional Japanese room atmosphere, this is quite nice. The rooms were clean although the general decor throughout the hotel was old, which is why the 3 stars instead of 4. The bathroom was really low in my opinion as it was one of those pre-cast bathrooms with plastic walls and ceiling. Not the best condition you could hope for. However, on a good note, the room had a fantastic ocean view and the onzen (HotSpring) had both indoor and outdoor which we ended just taking baths at the onzen and didn't really use the in room showers at all. The breakfast was alright but not great, as we were late to go eat and literally most of the food was gone. As far as I can tell, if you go earlier, the variety is decent. I think this hotel is alright but don't think I would go back.
