  Wonderful location for a family getaway to Northern Minnesota!

  We loved our first Up North resort experience at Birch Forest Lodge. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and SUPs and we all had a blast in the fishing boat we rented. We were able to fish and take the kids tubing behind it! We will definitely come back to Birch Forest Lodge again for another unforgettable experience! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and the accommodations were clean and neat. The boat was in great shape and easy to operate.

  Place to relax after BWCA

  Stayed in the lodge after our BWCA trip. Super clean and comfortable. Wonderful hosts. Laundry facilities were a great help. Sat on the dock and enjoyed beautiful sunset. We heard loons in the night. Would stay here again!

  Nice Stay - Comfortable, Cozy, Updated

  My husband and I traveled to Birch Forrest Lodge for a three day getaway. It was a pleasant experience. The Resort is clean, updated, and has multiple outdoor recreational activities. It is peaceful and beautiful and the owners are extremely knowledgeable on fishing and local things to do. Great! A+

  Paradise in the north Minnesota

  Great place ! The owners are very nice , friendly and helpful. The resort is very well organized and run . The cabins are almost like new, very clean and fragrant. During our stay we could to enjoy the clean air , lake and wonderful landscape

  Fishing trip

  Our family of 3 had a great time staying in our room above the lodge at Birch Forest Lodge. The picture is from the window of our room that over looked Pelican lake. The room had an air conditioner and the sink was outside the bathroom which made it so convenient for everyone to use. The equipment to use on the lake was in great condition and there is an extensive beach area. We had a great day fishing and cruising on the lake with the boat rental. The owners are very knowledgeable about the area and had some great tips. We caught lots of fish and enjoyed Vermillion Falls.
