  we went in the fall for my husband's work plus it was a get away weekend for the employees. Very relaxing, beautiful country and lot of hiking. Plus roasted marshmallows at night over open fire. Cabins were very comftorable.

  Not a good experience for me... To start, you need a car to get here. I called the front desk weeks ahead and they said, "You may have to wait 3 hours for the shuttle." I got an Uber, but that was lucky. A lot of people pay $109 for an executive ride. There is not Uber or Lyft service out in this remote area. The closest store is 45 minutes away. If I knew that ahead of time, it would have been a lot easier. So, my review is not about the transportation really, but that the staff is flat. The trainers are bored, looking at their phones and barely interactive. The people staying here a long time discourage you from doing things. The food is ok. I have been to another similar place that had a fun, up-beat, motivated staff and good food, so it is out there. The resort is pretty, nice ponds and trails. The rooms are tired with broken furniture and leaking ceilings. They need a deep clean. The gym is good, but does not have high-end equipment. A week was too long for me. I could not imagine staying longer. A corporate retreat might be better because someone else is paying. The rooms in the photos are the "Villas," not the "Bunkhouse," which is the standard accommodation. The best person we saw all week was the nutritionist. She was happy and up-beat, but that may be because she has only been on the job a short time. Last, this is not a place to send your teen to lose weight. First, it takes away from all of the other people and their experience. Second, said teen can just not go to classes or order food on Amazon Prime. It is not a jail. Do not send your young adult to get fixed up at the expense of others.

  It was for me . I loved it

  I got there on a Sunday and was bored to death maybe I got there early Saturday and was bored nothing was going on . Then I got depressed and wanted to go home. I then decided well its not that long maybe I could lose alittle weight and why not try . So I decided to give it a try . Wow so I became the most successful person there in losing the weight . So happy . I have not gained one pound back and its now April and I went before thanksgiving . I made it thru the holidays without gaining a pound . I myself think its worth it for me and I wantasend my daughter

  Wonderful experience

  The grounds are beautiful, the food incredible and the program challenging. It is In the middle of nowhere so pack well. Guests and staff are friendly. I call it a health spa...which is a much more apt description than biggest loser. The rooms are comfortable and clean but not fancy. The focus for the program is on your good health...whether you need to lose weight or not.

  Fourth visit

  Its just a great place to hang out for a week, work out, and have somebody cook healthy and delicious meals for you. I have been several times the joke with my friends is that I lose the same 3 to 5 pounds each time but that works for me! The staff is incredible, amazing, supportive and fun!
