  Big 4 Bright with The Beast

  On the road for the first time with The Beast, our affectionately named new van, we wanted a place that provided a pretty but practical stop to check all the bells and whistles before heading home across the border, and The Big 4 at Bright provided just such a stop. We had a powered, en-suite site, with slab and adjacent parking, but there are a range of options available, including a variety of cabins. The park is not sprawling, which is great. Its leafy, with river frontage, and situated directly on the walking tracks, it offers easy access to the town of Bright, the free water park on the river (great for kids), and the bike track linking all the pretty surrounding towns. We were there on market day, which was great for stocking up on local produce, including trout and salmon, stone baked bread, and locally grown berries, veg, fruit and conserves. The amenities at Big 4 are great, there are well laid out common rooms, clean bbq and kitchen areas, over the weekend there is a coffee van, and during our stay, there were pizza nights. There is no pool, but as swimming in the river seems to be the option, there are plenty of ways to cool off.

  Bright, lovely spot.

  Small park but close to town, excellent clean facilities. Friendly staff. Stayed there twice now. Bright is a beautiful town, good all year round. Beautiful trees in Autumn. Lots of walking tracks and popular with mountain bike riders. Nearby Mt Buffalo has some amazing scenery and snow in summer. Great location for all ages.

  Great Place

  We stayed in a lovely 2 story cabin for my Dad's 60th. Was clean, and a great space. I actually really appreciate the fact it had a child gate at the top of the stairs! It was a lovely park, with lots of spaces for socialising and BBQ's throughout. Close to town, not a far walk at all. We would definitely stay again.

  Caravan powered site

  I was initially not pleased with our position, but travelling with a pet never easy, would have loved a treed site possums however made it awkward as our little dog not happy, we managed to cover their noise somewhat leaving a fan on so worked out, & no complaints from neighbours. the facilities were spotless cleaned on&off all day just excellent and being so close to Bright town centre walking was easy, along the river georgous.

  Excellent Stay

  This was a great stay, staff were extremely friendly and the cabin was well kept and extremely tidy. Would stay here again. Love the coffee van parked in the center area of the park. Great location close to the center of town and facilities.
