Not So Good but Average Hotel with Good LocationThe hotel is not so good to stay, we have booked quad classic room with breakfast, the room rather narrow from family room of another room hotel's, breakfast not so good enough but this hotel are near to MRT station just only 5 minutes walk and near to love river and night market at love pier. The staff hotel are friendly, no problem to stay here. Family Mart just 2 minutes walk from the hotel and try the beef noodle just next door the hotel on the left hand side.

Big room and close to MRTClose to train station, many local food around. Room are big so as the washroom. Not noisy and clean. Japanese style decorations. Price is reasonable, free wifi and breakfast included. Staff are helpful.

Comfortable and close to MRTThe hotel was in a good location. Next to MRT. Easy walk to the Love River and the Fisherman's Warf Art Scene area. Beds were comfortable and all normal amenities were provided. wifi was a bit unreliable for my ipad although my husband had no issues with his laptop. Breakfast was minimalist and completely gone by 9am. Maid service was questionable, room not cleaned but we only stayed one night. The music playing in the hallway could be heard in the room late into the night and early in the morning.

Maybe for one nighters, not for holiday goersMade a trip to Kaohsiung with the family. We initially booked the Chateau de Chine Hotel. But because an additional person joined the trip and the hotel being full , we let the parents stay in the 5 star hotel and us the two daughters looked for other hotels. Other 4/5 star hotels are about a 10 min walk , but we eventually found this one which is literally right behind the Chateau de Chine which is very convenient for the two groups to meet up and stuff. My first thought of this hotel is that it is a business hotel, i think it is meant for super short stays (we stayed for 3 night). Lobby was small, check in was quick. They knew who we were the minute we stepped in the door.Didn't ask our names or look at passports. Hallways were dark and quiet. Rooms- Large enough in size but NOT CLEAN! There are suspicious looking hairs around the bathroom BEFORE we used it!! They have leather slippers for guests...so yeah i think they reuse them for like ALL the guests!!?? so to speak I always had my socks on before i put those slippers on. why do i put those slippers on? Because they dont clean the floor!! I have psoriasis on the back my head. So lets just say i leave traces of where i dried my hair in the room....those traces were still there the next evening after the beds were made....yep, Disgusting! There tea/coffee facilities. But the cups faces upwards so all the dusts are trapped in there..so i refuse to use them..even theres a paper thing that says "sanitized" on it! There is a small fridge if one needs it. We didn't bring an adaptor so we went to ask for one as we thought most hotels can cater for that...but they don't have anything! so we got it from the 5 star hotel next door ( even tho the 5 star hotel has sockets that would suit any worldwide plugs. ie no need for adaptors at all) The prices include Breakfast , when we checked in the check in guy only gave us two coupons ie for One breakfast. So we went down to get the the rest. Was no problem. But he forgot to mention that breakfast on Friday is served until 9.30am. But Saturday and Sunday breakfasts are served until 9am! (result in no breakfast for us on Sat) The next morning we went to get breakfast around 9.20am . But woke up with some music in the hallway and when we stepped out the room , the hallway was actually bright! (after story at end) So we arrive to get breakfast, we looked into the buffet containers and they were empty. So we were like oh... there's bread ! But after we sat down the staff brought out one western breakfast (egg, bacon, chicken popcorn ) and after i hear the microwave go off another one was right in front of me :) Saturday morning we went down 9.20am , a bunch of guests were eating western breakfasts but we were told breakfast is over. We explained no one told us of the time change for breakfast and she offered to make ones for us, but we didn;t want to wait around as we had a tour booked ,so we declined. That staff was apologetic enough. Location- Great! Its very close to the Love river. around two minute walk to the train station. ( leave the hotel, turn right. Then head left to a small shopping district, left again and you will see the entrance for station) Last day! Had breakfast around 8.40am, it was actually buffet style! Was very mediocre. We checked out around 12pm. But we went out to get some souvenir before that, when we got back around 11am we can hear the lady at the desk with her walkie talkie , telling people to shut the lights down on different floors. When we stepped out of the elevator , hallway was dark, no music . So I guess we must have been the only guests here on Thursday night and last to leave! will i stay again? NO WAYS!! Even for one night? NOPE !! I've stayed in Ibis in Manchester which is cleaner than this place!

Creepy....Can see through the separator made by bamboo to next room if next room light is on. Bathroom wall is half transparent glass, facing directly at window to outside. Privacy level in the room is very low.
