  We loved this place. We were in Myrtos on a road-trip and decided we would come back and stay the next night. We were so glad we did. The owner of the hotel is very hospitable and kind. The hotel was a perfect Greek experience with location to the beach, lovely view or garden rooms, and amenities in the room to make your own meals. Bonus is there is accessible parking and if you are in need they may do a bit of laundry for you. Although there are laundry dry racks on the patio. The price for the rooms are reasonable and have free wifi. This is the best place in Mirtos.

  A dream place off the touristic crowds

  A view over plants and flowers to the sea. What do you want more? The Big Blue is a very tasteful set up terrace/apartment place with individual rooms and a warm hospitality of the owner Nicos with a lot of (good) recommendations of restaurants and places to visit.

  Charming with some lows

  Very charming place in Myrtos with an amazing view over the bay. We were at one of the top apartments with a balcony and in the evening you can enjoy the view of the stars and listen to the waves gently breaking on the beach; so relaxing. Apartments are not very spacious but it is an old building with charm and painted ion blue and white; not so many in Creta. The host is great and they provide a very good guide of what to do around and where to eat. Lows: - WiFi: it will test your patience - Ammenities in the room: almost non-existant and providing a Nespresso machine without any capsule is not optimal. - Few strange things related to the payment and holding of ID card

  A hidden gem!

  Big Blue is really a hidden gem! Stelios and Nicos are doing their best to make the guests feel literally like home! Rooms are very tastefully decorated to every little detail. Beds and mattresses are super comfortable. All rooms have a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals. Bathrooms are completely renovated. All rooms have excellent view to the sea. The deck in the balcony is marvellous, like staying in a boat. The cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable. Extra measures due to Covid-19 are taken, so that a guest can feel completely safe. The building is the last building of the village, which ensures quite vacation. Restaurants, cafés and shops are in a close distance. Big Blue is the ultimate choice for unforgettable vacations!
