  Good hotel for the price

  I stayed here one night. It is less than a 5-minute walk from the station, right by the medieval Marschiertor (gate), and about a 10-minute walk from the centre with the Cathedral. It's clearly been renovated recently and is kept nice and clean. The buffet breakfast is good, and it's all at very reasonable prices -- for this amount, you could do far worse! I had a room on the third floor facing the front, so there was a bit of noise from the road and from patrons of a couple of nearby bars during the night, but only intermittently, and nothing bad for a cheap one-night stay. The room was a bit cramped, but perfectly adequate. They also let you leave your luggage at the reception after you check out, which was great as I had half a day in Aachen before my onward train.   Excellent budget choice

  The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and welcoming here. This is a budget hotel but she gave us a five star welcome - provided extra pillows, coffee in the morning, and plenty of advice about the town and where to visit.

  This is not a hotel

  Rude personnnel, There is no reception after 7pm and the hotel is locked, the quality of the construction is bad without sound proofing and in general they try to deceive their customers with "rules" that are not visible

  Good place

  It was a good place to stay in a great German city, the hotel has everything you need for a short stay don recommend for families Whit kids there's no much space in the room nor in the hotel but friends or groups is great

  Small and compact for a nights stay

  I personally wouldnt stay here again. There was a strong smell within the hotel that left me opening the windows wide, and running out as soon as I could in the morning. The hotel is budget. Small, not spacious, uncomfortable beds and even with checkout in the morning we got woken up the cleaner because she wanted us outan hour earlier than check out. Facilities were clean and check in was smooth. I managed to hold my luggage until after 5, when someone would be back in the hotel. All in all - one night is enough!
