  Must rebook!!

  We do love a Bestwestern Hotel and this place is FANTASTIC. Location is good to Its within a 10min walk from Dorchester south station or just under £5 in a taxi. Theres plenty of shops, eateries and a lovely river walk. Unfortunately the Roman house was closed, which is also within walking distance, due to works being carried out in the grounds but we shall be returning as we thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff are great, Rachel, Linda, Steve, and Graham to name a few and they all certainly have super customer service skills. This Hotel has won awards for Breakfast and Im sure that will continue as theyre faultless. Everything is cooked just they way you want it, and the service is fab. We also took the train to Weymouth for the day abd had chips in the beach. We LOVED IT!!!!

  Highly recommended

  Perfect location. Quiet but on the high street. Very friendly and efficient staff. Very clean room and bathroom. Has small car park for 10 or so vehicles but parking available nearby. Interesting town and highly recommended.

  Nice Dorchester hotel

  Very good breakfast and options. We had the suite which we recommend, spacious and quiet. Parking get there early afternoon. Ideally placed in the town centre with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

  Welcoming and a great breakfast

  We stayed for 3 nights in a family room. All the staff we very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable - the hotel had stopped normal room servicing due to Covid but you could request anything you needed (e.g. clean towels, clean cups and extra coffee/tea etc). We managed to park in the hotel car park each day - it is quite small and required a few 7 point turns to get in and out but it was not a problem. The hotel is an older building which means the floors are a bit uneven and do creak but this did not disturb us too much. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. Breakfast was great - we had continental on two days and enjoyed a good selection of fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast and pastries. Good cafetière coffee and they even made a jug of hot chocolate for my son. The cooked breakfast on our third day was delicious, good portions and again they were happy to let us bespoke our order. The staff were so pleasant despite being busy and we felt very well looked after.

  Comfortable stay. Great staff

  A very comfortable hotel with nice rooms Staff very helpful and welcoming Fantastic breakfast. Dont miss the Eggs Royale which are fantastic Hotel has a small car park which often fills up early. There is a town car park within 400 M Highly recommend
