  Clásico hotel inglés.

  Típico hotel inglés con moqueta por todos sitios. Una sobre otra, lo que a veces hace que el andar sea un ejercicio casi de equilibrio. Limpio aunque con olor a frito. Cama grande y excesivamente blanda. Aún así, una experiencia buena. Céntrico y el trato muy correcto.

  Great, comfortable hotel

  We came to this hotel from the Cathedral Hotel because I have a hip problem and the George had a lift. All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating,the room was quiet, and our final meal on Saturday night was exceptional. Thoroughly recommended

  Lovely weekend

  Just spent three nights at the George and had a great stay. very central, very comfy bed. Food was really good. However their best asset is their staff, very friendly and made to feel welcome. Would certainly come back again.

  Fabulous Staff

  Onsite free parking was the first bonus of our stay. The George made everything safe with the new tier 2 Covid restrictions. We had booked an upgrade but our sofa and carpet were stained ( room 41). This was disappointing as the upgrade was a belated birthday treat and there were nothing other than the stained sofas extra in our room. I didn't feel comfortable sitting on the sofas , especially in the current climate. so staff rightly charged only for a standard. Our stay included a meal at Darwins restaurant this was our first encounter with the wonderful Helen Nothing was too much trouble and the food was hot and delicious and the service was spectacular or rather spooktacular The bar tender was professional and friendly. We shall definitely we returning to The George Hotel at Lichfield and we wish you all a safe few lockdown weeks and hopefully see you the other side

  Lovely meal

  We got married in Oct 2008 and had our reception at the The George hote so we decided to go back for a meal in our 12th wedding anniversary. Food was lovely. Could not complain about one bite . Surrounding were romantic and it felt like you were the only people there . Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend the restaurant and we will be back for another anniversary meal
