  Never again

  I've stayed at many Quality Inns as a Choice Hotels rewards member and this was the worst one I've ever had the misfortune to have to stay in. The place is a disaster. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. We barely slept and the tiny pillows what's that about? It was very old and very dirty everywhere. The guy at check-in was a very nice guy but he should've warned us to stay anywhere else but there.

  One star says it all!!

  Rarely do we file a review with a one star quality but this particular Quality Inn needs to eliminate the word quality from their name. For a slight fee, our room was upgraded to a patio room for better access to parking and ease of taking Oscar (the dog) outside. The patio was a muddy mess from evening sprinklers and not at all attractive, especially after we all tracked that mud into the room. Also, we NEVER felt that Covid standards were achieved. Some surfaces were still a bit dirty; we found a corner of the wall above the sink ladened with brown stuff (which we removed with Clorox wipes); used wipes to clean headboards and other surfaces; no shampoo nor gel in the shower dispensers; security door of our building was broken providing little comfort with some male guests hanging outside, smoking and checking out our 18 year old daughter; AND there was no complimentary breakfast, only in-room coffee, plus a broken ice machine in our building. We expressed these concerns to the morning manager but were disappointed with his lack of a comforting response. We travel through here often now and will begin saving our pennies so we can stay at a real quality inn in Baker City, the Geiser!

  Unethical and bug-infested. Worst hotel EVER and we stayed 1 hour.

  The front desk guy didnt come out of the office to check us in for more than 5 minutes and when he did he wasnt wearing a mask. Without a mask, he told us there are no luggage carts because of Covid. In the parking lot, the gentleman blowing leaves pointed it directly at me and my 9 year-old rather than pointing it away for a minute. The door from outside to the hallway didnt latch. The toilet had to be flushed by opening the back tank (chain wouldnt stay on). When we first arrived, my husband killed a spider near one bed. We noted mold and cracked-on dirt on the shampoo dispenser in the shower. We had prepaid and decided to try to tough it out as we were on a long road trip and said we would skip the shower and try to sleep, so we got pizza. While eating pizza, my husband killed a second, larger spider near the second bed, we decided to load back into the car and drive another 2 hours to a Hilton. We called and checked out and explained our concerns and we were told We dont give refunds. We complained to Hotels.com who also wouldnt refund because they called the front office and were told He went into the room and didnt see the dead bugs. Worst hotel EVER and we were there for an hour. DO NOT STAY HERE. Youre better off sleeping in your car.

  This hotel is a scam

  Six members of my family stayed in this hotel in multiple rooms while in town for my Grandmas funeral. Both my parents and I were charged $15 per night over what we were told when we booked the rooms by phone! I didn't have water in the room they gave me. The ice maker was broken. Every time someone had to contact the front desk it was a ten or fifteen minute wait. There was one guy to check us in, deal with every issue, including the plumbing, and he was extremely unpleasant. Both sides of my family are originally from Baker, many of us use hotels when we visit family. This isn't the first time we were burned by the Sunridge but it will be the last! For what they dishonestly charged us we could have stayed at the Geiser Grand. Never again. The time before this I contracted a skin infection from the pillowcase. At least I brought my own pillow this time.
