  Disappointing

  Very friendly helpful staff a credit but a sad shabby looking reception, the room was clean but the shower looked grubby and not at all appealing, then had a continuous drip. I was disappointed as knew the hotel from years before, hence the stay, when it had been excellent. The food was dry and sad

  Working away

  The hotel is very pleasant with lovely staff and the food is nice, but small portions Lots of takeaways nearby I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Just the tv channels were inadequate, not enough. And need extra pillows

  I AM BEING VERY FAIR GIVING AN AVERAGE SCORE

  As a key worker travelling from one T3 to another T3 in the C-19 pandemic due to work engagements, I needed accommodation for x 2 nights in a location close to Stafford. I stay at BW frequently and this I am afraid to say was a real disappointment in terms of standards notwithstanding the C-19 restrictions. Headlines: Food -dire. Room - freezing to the point I needed to sleep in a fleece jacket. Housekeeping - non existent. Front of staff - lovely and very welcoming. Other observations: 1st floor where my room was located - tired carpets and so too decor within the room. In summary: It did the job in terms of being close to my work locations but it felt impersonal and lacking in BW standards and I doubt I would return.

  Great nights sleeo

  As a single woman travelling for business, I felt safe at this hotel. Oli on reception gave me a choice of room to suit my needs and couldn't be more helpful. He also helped me with the menu to choose an evening meal and placed an order for my breakfast too. The burger was really tasty and a portion so big I couldn't eat it all!! The hotel was very clean and I had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed, i could of done with a lie in, but unfortunately had to get up for work. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

  Stay at Tillington Hall Hotel

  arrived quite late after long journey. Booked double room, Once in the room we thought we would have a coffee only to find there was only 1 paper cup! there were 2 pillows on the bed, I really needed 2 for sleeping, My husband asked reception for an extra cup and pillow, a proper cup was delivered to the room along with the pillow. obviously the paper cup was no good for the morning drink. We then noticed the room was only equipped for a one person stay. 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel. but we were so tired we didn't bother to tell reception. once we got to bed, we found the mattress was so uncomfortable as the buttons were sticking up through the mattress and hurting our backs. each time either of us moved the mattress rocked from side to side I thought I was on a swing! the bed needs removing from the room and dumping!! I did not sleep the whole night!! Continental breakfast was served in the room. which was plentiful, however the coffee was so strong it was undrinkable! check in and check out was fine. room dated,
