Very clean and quite hotel in one of the best area around the city!!!
Well located hotel, which is very clean and quite, everything is around the corner and although rooms are small, but trust me I am frequent traveler of this part of city and I am telling you that these small rooms are much bigger than the rooms offered by their rival hotels in the same area!!! One of the best thing that you would get is nespresso in your room, which is always a plus. I would say that there is only one problem with this hotel, which is its breakfast!!! The breakfast is ok, but it does have lots of rooms for improvement!!! They offer 4 types of Juices, and scramble egg and ready to be boiled, they also have bacon and good selection of fruit salads, but For example my banna was brownish, and their cheese selection and bread basket is ok, but it could be much better, specially for a 4 star hotel, definitely their breakfast doesn't worth 14 euros (I had a better breakfast included in my room, in 3 star hotel in this area)!!! But in general this hotel is very comfy, and probably I will be back here for my next work trip!!

You get what you pay for!
We chose this hotel because of the affordable pricing and good reviews. You get what you pay for, however, and unfortunately, that is not much. Our room was incredibly small for two people - even smaller than what you would see on a cruise ship. The bed took up the entire room leaving little to no walking space or room for our luggage to lay flat. The closet was also minuscule with only a handful of hangers and shelves for clothing. We felt very misled by the photos posted online which show a nice sized room. Some may be this way, but ours certainly was not. We also were not big fans of the hospitality. When we arrived on a Tuesday morning, much earlier than the 3 pm check-in time because that is just how our flights worked out, the woman working the front desk was disgruntled to see us and was shaking her head without welcoming us. She did offer to hold our bags until our room became available, but she did not even say hello and seemed stressed out that we showed up early. After such a long flight and time spent getting there, this left a bad taste in our mouth. We weren't expecting a room right away, we only wanted to leave our bags and come back later. I didn't catch her name, but she was of Asian descent. I will say that our encounters with every other receptionist were pleasant, so there's that. I also want to touch on the location. It is next to multiple metro stations, but this was useless to us because of the ongoing strikes. We found it very far (walking wise) to many of the sites we planned to see. In fact, we wished we chose a hotel in the right bank (this is in the left bank) because it's much closer to top sites like Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Louvre, Marais, etc. The hotel is across from a hospital, so the street is quiet at night but also a bit sketchy. There were a few nefarious characters on our walks home that made us feel uneasy. There were some nice restaurants in the area, but we did not spend much time in the hotel vicinity because it was so far from everything on our itinerary. Overall, this is a good place to stay if you do not mind taking the metro (assuming it works) or walking very long distances. Also good if you don't mind tiny rooms and average service (nothing above and beyond from staff). The price was good for what it was, especially since the rooms were very clean, but we would not stay here again.
