    Wonderful visit

I decided to stay at the Burgundy on my trip to Little Rock, and am so very glad that I did. I had a wonderful time. Because of Covid, I decided to check in via my Hilton app on my phone so didn't stop at the front desk. However, I met Mia in the lobby and she was wonderful! She was so very helpful with information about the hotel. I've not traveled much during Covid, but felt very safe in the hotel as everyone wore masks and practiced social distancing. Mia mentioned that the restaurant within the Burgundy (Table 28) had a wonderful happy hour, and also offered dinner. After relaxing a bit in my room, I went there and was very pleased (have reviewed it separately as it is independently owned). As far as the hotel itself, I was very happy with my room (actually suite). It was huge for just one person, and very clean. The bed was comfortable and I slept well, which is unusual for being in a hotel. I also really liked the fact that they have a new thing called "connected room" which allowed me to use my phone as a remote for the tv, and also to be able to stream Netflix. Very cool. I didn't use any of the other amenities, but I would definitely stay here again. Very impressed!!!

    Pathetic Excuse for a Hotel

I needed a place to stay the night after doing business in Little Rock and saw this highly rated hotel. When I checked in I was basically ignored, there was no menu (apparently I was supposed to know there was one at the front desk), and my room HAS NO TV. What year is this??? I paid over $100 for this room. I also tried to call the front desk and restaurant multiple times and it said calls are not being accepted right now, call back later. Never coming back to this hotel.

    Staycation

We needed a trip and ended up at the Burgundy. What a nice hotel. Its in an odd section of town, but nice that it was off the beaten path. Check in was seamless and the front desk workers were very welcoming. We did a king room with pool view, but I think I would just do the standard room if I stayed there in the future. Great hotelvery clean, modern and great living area in the room.

Comfy hotel we did not expect in Little Rock

Getting a bit weary on the way home for a round trip cross country trip, we were interested to find this boutique hotel. It is new with large rooms, quiet and COVID friendly. The bathroom was situated right across from bed (who designed this?) this is not optimal for anyone who gets up at night. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Restaurant in hotel was surprisingly good too. Will review that separately.

    Updated review of Burgundy Hotel

Stayed here several times, but originally was not keen on the special whirlpool suite. Well, tried it again (been several years) and it's been updated and I love it. We have adult kids living in West Little Rock, so when the Capital Hotel has been closed due to Covid, made the switch back to the Burgundy. The location is wonderful and we really enjoy Table 28 happy hour and food as well as Petit & Keet, which is in walking distance. Every time we check in, whoever is at the front desk is SOOOOO Friendly and really wonderful to us and thanks us for our Diamond membership with Hilton. The rooms are quiet and clean and we sleep really well in them. If you're wanting a slightly better more romantic evening, get the whirlpool suite or at least the two-room suite, both have fireplaces and are really nice. The only negative is the breakfast situation. Seems like each time we go, someone doesn't show up and service is really really slow. No big deal we aren't in a hurry, just a little bit of a disappointment, but not enough to change my review.
