  Wedding day!

  We would like to say thank you for how amazing Rogerthorpe were all the way through from booking our date to the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better venue- all our guests commented on how perfect the day was and we really did love it. The venue looked beautiful and the staff were so helpful and accommodating! I would absolutely recommend anyone to go ahead with Rogerthorpe for their wedding especially in the current situation- you made it special even in the hardest of times.   Brilliant 5 night stay

  We stayed here from 18-23rd October. It was our first hotel stay since the pandemic and naturally was a bit worried . When we checked in we upgraded our room for a small fee to the hideaway suite - it was lovely . Its not attached to the hotel but less than a minutes walk from Main building. Huge space and upstairs was the bathroom with a freestanding bath and lovely walk in shower . TV also to watch whilst in bath. Downstairs was spacious living room area with tv and bedroom with another tv screen. There is also a private patio to sit out side with table and chairs- sadly wasnt the weather to sit outside. Housekeeping didnt enter the room during the stay but just ask for fresh towels , toiletries etc each day . The Jacobean bar was open for food at night and you can eat in there or in the lounge area which we found to be more quite and relaxing. Varied menu also which was reasonably priced too . Breakfast - each table spaced out, provided with disposable gloves and needed to be worn all times & masks when at continental buffet . Hot food had to be ordered . All the staff were excellent ,very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend this hotel .

  Amazing!

  We had a really wonderful stay at Rogerthorpe Manor this week,taking advantage of the childrens tipi offer.Everything from start to finish was fabulous,the room (suite 16) was amazing,couldnt have found a nicer room to stay in. The staff were all so accommodating and friendly,from booking to leaving everyone was helpful.We ate in the restaurant and food was great and really reasonably priced,service was brilliant from the ladies serving us and they helped me out with the warming of my youngest evening milk much to the delight of my daughter. What a lovely hotel in such amazing grounds,everything was impeccably clean and we felt safe in the current climate. We will definitely be back as soon as possible. Keep up the amazing work youre all doing in such uncertain times.Thank you

  Wedding review

  We got married here in October. Everything was perfect. The venue went the extra mile to ensure everything ran smoothly. The venue, hotel and the food was fantastic. The wedding took place during covid but this did not prevent us from having the perfect day.

  Very pleased

  The hotel looked impressive from the car park and didn't let you down as you entered. working with covid was well controlled. eating meals in your room was actually very pleasant and the staff were very friendly.
